I gave A One a "B" rating overall but an "A" in every sub-category. But let me start with the good stuff.
We called, they showed up and gave us a quote and even told us ways to help cut down the costs. They gave us a quote in writing and didn't pressure us afterward.
We received 3 quotes in total, and we decided to go with A One.
They showed up on time. The guys were very polite and moved fairly quickly. The move took 6 1/2 hours as planned. The furniture and both houses were left in great shape. When hiring a moving company, these are the most important things. Can they move my stuff quickly and without problems? This company did both.
Now the bad. There was some miscommunication somewhere. We had asked for A One to come pack our stuff on the Monday before our Wednesday move. But when we called to confirm, they didn't have the packing day scheduled. I was able to work with them to find a different day and time to get our stuff packed before they came to move us. Minor headache.
Then after the move, the final price was about $250 more than we were quoted even though the move took the amount of time they thought. I put this error on the estimator. He had estimated packing and moving, but only estimated needing 3 guys to move us and they sent four.
With that being said, even at $250 over their quote, they were still on par with the other 2 quotes we received, so we paid the additional amount without complaint, but to get that kind of surprise on moving day was not what I was looking for.
So with the two minor issues, I gave them an overall "B" for a grade. But the moving guys themselves were top notch and took great care of our stuff.
I would use them again.

The crew was a little late, about a half hour, however, as soon as they arrived they went to work. They worked together very well and always kept us involved. They moved fast which was very impressive. They were careful with our fine furniture and goods. When they took a 5 minute break they informed us and also of their other 10 minute break. They subtracted the break time from the total cost which also pleased us. They were so considerate when they placed the furniture in the new home and moved it when asked. They went through room by room at the end asking if all was OK. The price was lower than the estimate.

Fantastic movers! All positives. I received several estimates and A1's estimate was by far the most reasonable. The movers were very friendly and efficient. Pointed out flaws in items (i.e. dent in file cabinet) before loading items into the van. Very polite and took great care w/ my belongings. Very highly recommended!

They were awesome. They were always on time. The guy that did the estimate was within 100 dollars of his original price. They were by far the least expensive movers I could find.

A-1 Movers moved all my furniture, books, boxes, household items from my 3rd story condo rental to my new home. They did a great job! The day was extremely humid and hot, but they did amazing work.

They sent 3 guys and a large moving van to do the work. It cost a little more than I had anticipated, but was well worth the money. (They did not quote a total for me, as I had packed everything at the last minute so I just asked for with 2 guys and a moving truck which was $165.00 an hour... A VERY good price!)

I don't remember the cost of 3 guys and a truck  per hour, which is what I ended up needing. Even though I was moving from a small condo, it was filled with boxes and furniture, as was the storage cage, because I'd moved there from a 3 bedroom 3 floor townhouse previously.

We packed at the last minute due to the hurricane which left us without electricity for 3 days. The day before they came, I realized just how many boxes (over 100 plus furniture and paintings). I panicked and called them to say I had more than I'd realized, so they sent 3 guys and a truck, which I was very glad of.

They did not take smoking breaks. They took a lunch break and came back immediately after. I was extremely pleased with their work and their care. They were worth every penny. Again, it was so hot and humid that you perspired if you just sat still, so the weather made their work much more difficult.

They were polite, prompt, thoughtful, and really lifted some extremely heavy pieces and carried them down 3 flights of stairs (my condo had no elevator or service entrance)... then carried them a half a block which was the closest you could park to my building without any complaints. Always a smile and a kind word.

I would use this company again with no hesitation, and HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who is moving! This is my 8th move in 10 years, and this company tops them all.

They were very friendly, they were great guys.  They were very professional and efficient and took care not to damage our things.
