We met with six different contractors to obtain estimates. Estimates were fairly comparable across the board for demolition of the bathroom and the installation of ceramic floors. We asked for pricing on a fiberglass tub and surround vs. a ceramic tub and tile. Ceramic quotes ranged from $7,663 - $8,779, and fiberglass quotes ranged from $6,600 - $8,025. We found Mr. Cocimano's ad in our local county newspaper and contacted him for an estimate. Overall, Mr. Cocimano was the most professional in his contact with us. He arrived on time, and was dressed in a company uniform. He was professional and courteous, and quickly submitted his estimate. He was always very respectful--never aggressive or pushy. When asked, he promptly provided a list of references, who all gave positive feedback and recommendations. He listened to our ideas and expressed a willingness to work with us to find ways to reduce costs to work within our budget. This remodel was for my daughter and son-in-law's home, and it was their only bathroom. With that in mind, Mr. Cocimano ensured the work was completed as quickly as possible, and it was done within one week (other contractors quoted a two-week remodel period). To ease the inconvenience, Mr. Cocimano re-set the toilet at the end of every day while work was ongoing. His crew was efficient and courteous. My daughter and son-in-law felt comfortable enough with Mr. Cocimano and his employees, that they allowed them to use a lock box with a key so work could commence without the necessity of a family member being present. We found Mr. Cocimano to be conscientious, attentive to detail, scrupulously honest, and we trusted him thoroughly. His company transformed a small, dated, cramped bathroom, with no storage, into a lovely, elegant and sophisticated modern bathroom with storage. It is truly amazing how well it turned out, considering the small space he had to work with. True Quality Home Improvements, LLC did a wonderful job and I recommend them without reservation.
