I have had work done by them in the past and I am very happy with them. They are great and do very high quality work. They may be a tad on the pricey side, but it was the best value for us.

FABULOUS.  Never dreamed the  trunk could be repaired and refinished  to perfection. .  I'd been  dubious because of the condition of the piece I was giving them.  The company is located rather far away from my home but is worth every minute of the time.

This is the third occasion where I have used Schoenbauer's service.
 Initially they repaired some scratches on wooden furniture for me, as well as a dining room table top.
Now I am an out of state, absentee landlord.  My painter dropped some pain on a newly refinished floor which ate into the "clear coat"  Schoenbauer went in and fixed the situation.  They were so easy to work with; willing to go out of their way to assist me.

The technician arrived on time and was courteous.  He quickly repaired the damage to the table and assessed that the other hinged sides needed reinforcement.  All the work (even that outside of the original scope of work) was completed quickly and within the original price estimate.

Bill Schoenbauer himself came to our house traveling over 100 miles! He came twice so I am very impressed. Bill repaired our leather sofa (looks perfect!) our king poster bed and many other items, including chairs, cabinets, furniture, etc. I was so impressed by Bill and his professionalism. He does immaculate work and double and triple checks everything. He made sure the job was done right. Normally I look over the shoulder of repair companies, however Bill immediately made me feel comfortable and I could tell he is an expert in his field. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

They would have done an estimate via email if I could have provided digital pictures; instead they picked the pieces up and provided an oral estimate with written follow up. Their work was not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for in this case. The work is truly excellent. The family run company is professional and very responsive. The process was smooth from start to finish. I couldn't be happier.

I ve trusted these guys with several family heirlooms and have been really impressed with their results. They re not inexpensive but their work is well worth the price. Their base pickup fee remains the same regardless of the number of items they ll be working on, so it s to your advantage to have them refinish several pieces at one time. I was particularly impressed with the refinishing job they performed on the bookcase. Before they got their hands on it, this piece was rough and sticky (from a bad previous refinishing job approximately 30 years earlier). After they finished, the piece was gleaming and beautiful;an amazing transformation. They also did an excellent job of matching the wood grain on the card catalog.

We were ecstatic with the job Schoenbauer did repairing our precious things that we brought back from Asia. They phoned in advance and arrived right on schedule. It was wonderful that they performed the work right in the house and were meticulous about not making a mess. The experts were also helpful in advising us about caring for the furniture to avoid cracking.
