Dan and Gary of DH Landscaping set up an appointment, came punctually, and provided very professional proposals for the great deal of landscaping work we needed on our proerty. They even bid each work item separately,m though that was added work for them, so we could pick what work  we could afford to do at the time. They were agreeable to a counter proposal redefinign the scope of the work and budget.  They always responded promptly and professionally to my emails and calls. When they came to do the estimate, I was immediately impressed with their knowledge of various trees, shrubs and flowers, the right season to trim and plant, etc.  DH Lawn and Landscape was one of four bids I received -- they were not the cheapest, but they were competitive (they were second lowest price) and very reasonable. Considering their professionalism and extensive knowledge, I was convinced they were well worth the few dollars more. They inspired trust. 
I'm sorry to say that our yard was a mess owing to our work schedules -- The flower beds had volunteer trees in them six feet high, weeds had taken over, and good plants were tangled up with bad. Dan supervised the staff on site himself -- he did not send a crew who might not know the difference between plants that need to be pulled and those that can be saved. They did a tremendous amount of excellent work in a surpirsingly short time. They met the letter of the agreement we made and were pleasant and professional. I would definately hire them again (this time without bothering to get other bids).
