He was able to find the roof leak quickly, and determine what needed to be done to fix it. He gave me a very reasonable estimate, and he did not charge more than the estimate.
"The client told me he would call me on Sunday to set a time, for either Monday or Tuesday. He had guests coming in from out of town. I did not receive a call so I figured he was tied up with spending time with his family. I figured he would call when he was available. I should have given him a follow up call."
"Unfortunately I was taken very ill for a few weeks, and I did not have the opportunity to get back to the client. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. From now on I will make sure in the future that if something like this happens again. I will inform someone to make calls in my absence. Sincerely, Mark J. Ruzicka"
"I have to agree with her on this. I was told by the sub I was using that it would take about two weeks to complete this job. Unfortunately I should have qualified this contractor better before hiring him on. Since that time I no longer use this contractor on any of my projects. I now prequalify, and check references on every contractor I now use. As far as the painting is concerned I did not want to start another project until I was sure the patio was completed. That is why I waited for the previous project to be done. Since this time I have built a phenomenal crew of dedicated and hardworking contractors who will do what ever it takes to get the job done. I apologize again for any inconvenience I have caused you. Thank you for your input. Mark"
"The matter at hand was a leaky roof, and water logged drywall. We completed the repair in April of 09. We covered our workmanship for six months. We received a call that following July that the leak was back. So we went back and repaired the damaged drywall, and roof at no charge for labor. We again received a call in Feburary 2010 stating that the leak was back again. So I fit them into the schedule in March to repair the roof again. I did not charge for taking care of this, even though the warranty I offered was up. I try to be fair and straight with my clients as possible. Yes it did take about a month to schedule them in. However I did not charge for my time, or my subs. Every other job we completed they were happy with. With no call backs other than the roof issue. Thank you for your feedback. Mark"
"I can't understand as to why he filed such a report. The first time I did work for him he seemed to be satisfied with the work that was performed. He called me a second time to move the equipment that I had hung the first time to a new location to make room for his brewing equipment. Yes I did ask for his help when installing the punching bags do to the fact that they were heavy and awkward. As to not getting back to him. I gave him a price for the drywall repair but never heard back from him concerning this. I figured he was not satisfied with the price. As to the thing I could not fix. This was his $200.00 InSinkErator garbage disposal. This unit was totally locked up and I cold not get it to move. However the unit looked new, and I told him that it might be under warranty. So the first thing he should do is contact the company and see if it was still covered. He later called and Thanked me due to the fact they were going to give him a new disposal at no charge because it was still covered by the warranty. That was the last that I heard from him until now 10 months later. I always ask my clients if they are satisfied with work we have done. If they are not I do my best to make them totally satisfied. I cant please everybody but I can at least try. But if the client doesn't inform me when something is wrong there is nothing I can do."
