When it was all finished the kitchen look great. The work was done to satisfaction, within a reasonable time frame, and at a reasonable price. The house has a much more open feel.

It was fantastic because everyone worked hard, there was no cursing, no smoking on property, they hung up sheets of plastic up to avoid dirt coming into the house. They worked quickly. They made sure I was absolute happy before they left. Friendly and courteous. They didn't take any shortcuts, very thorough work.

Doug from Hands-On was great. When I first met him, he mentioned 1. I don't hire vagrants, 2. I'm on your job everyday as opposed to having my crew do the work, 3. I won't start someone else's job while in the middle of yours. He brought this stuff on his own, not knowing my previous contractor was fired for all three of those issues.
Honest guy, gave clear details of work and considerations I didn't think of. Did what he agreed to do. Did several additional add-on jobs. Was easy to approach about questions and expectations. No pressure.
Ex. While running utilities for my laundry upstairs, Doug noticed a copper pipe that started sweating in the basement. He replace the two foot section and just asked for a couple bucks for it. This was the sort of get it down attention I need. Didn't need to hand-hold, or go to hardware store for

Doug and his crew were friendly, responsive, easy to work with and did an excellent job. Doug has had some recent heath problems and he also had some other problems with the rest of the crew. Our job was supposed to take 5-6 weeks, but took nine to complete. I would be hesitant to use Hands On again until Doug and his guys are all healthy and ready to work.

HE DID A GREAT JOB, I WANT TO KEEP HIM A SECRET. EVERYTHING WORKS LIKE IT'S SUPPOSED TO, AND THE ESTIMATE NEVER WAVERED. HE IS A NICE GUY, AND ONLY TAKES ONE JOB AT A TIME SO HE CAN FOCUS ON HIS CUSTOMERS.
