The work is not yet complete. It has gone over schedule, but the contractor is working with us on price.

I have used them twice. I was in the construction industry myself in England and they were the most impressive company that I had ever known or ever dealt with. The owner of the company, Mr. Gary Henry was very detail oriented which would be very hard to find in a construction company because everybody would want to get in and out. When it is your home as opposed to an investment property, you would want someone who would pay attention to the details and make sure that everything was as it should be. I called them back once even after the job was done as there was a crack in my basement on the ceiling. It was nothing major and it was because my children would run around here all the time. He came in, sorted it out and made sure that it was painted over. He did not charge me anything. His company was exceptional to me and I have had a lot of experience with the construction companies. I would recommend them to anyone. The only thing was that they would be here by 09:00 when they would say that they were going to be here by 08:00 which was not a big deal but it could be improved upon. I would absolutely use them again in the future if I needed something to be done. I would not use anyone else although I would take estimates from the others for price comparison.

Overall the job and results were fantastic. I had 3 estimates and Catonsville Contractors were the only firm that estimated the whole job. One of the other firms said they would not remove the dishwasher and would not disconnect or reconnect the stove. The other firm was only going to install flooring to the edges of the diswasher and stove. Catonsville bid the entire job, removing the dishwasher, stove, refrigerator, and the sink and toilet in the bathroom. This is what we really wanted. Their estimate was the highest of the 3 but not by a great deal more and they were going to do the complete job. If there was a problem, it was maintaining contact with them for the estimate and up to the start of the job. There were several factors that contributed to the miscommunications. Catonsville Contractors were in the midst of relocating their headquarters and I'm sure trying to get out of the building by the end of the month of April. Also, it was hard to schedule a start date because key players in their workforce were hit with a flu epidemic. Also we were having trouble picking out the tile for them to procure. However, none of these were big obsticales and were easily overcomed. When we did get a start date, it was never changed, they showed up on time and did a great and very professional job. The job took 1 week to complete, which was great. Their workforce were extremely knowledgeable and knew what they were doing - no subcontractors. They kept us informed with every step along the way. The existing floor was very old (more than 25 yrs) and there were several other layers underneath. It caused a problem. They removed as much as possible then used concrete to level the entire floor and put down new cement board. Then laid the tile, grout and sealant as well as new molding all around. This was in the kitchen only and the reult is beautiful. The bathroom encountered no problems removing the old floor and putting the new. They were great to work with and we have other projects in mind that they will definitly be asked to bid.

I can highly recommend this company! They were in my home for about 6 months. They came up with great ideas on how we could best utilize the space. They did an excellent job! The had A + workmanship. Their pricing was very good as well. It was a top quality finish. If we have any other work done, we will definitely be using them.
