Bedrock Remodeling

This was a big job--a complete rebuild after a fire--and I could not be more pleased with the job that Bedrock did. They worked intelligently and promptly with the insurance company and all city inspectors (they did not cut corners). They accomplished many upgrades that I didn't initially think I could afford. They had access to some historical materials that they passed on to me at a very low cost; these returned character to the home that I thought was lost in the fire. They gave great design advice, but were also open to my ideas. Above all, they were completely trustworthy. In a job this big, I was worried about the many opportunities to take advantage of me, the homeowner, because I had never experienced a construction project of this size. But Bedrock was absolutely reliable. On top of all that, I truly enjoyed working with their team. I'll miss them!

He and three workers stayed out in the dark and pouring rain to fix a broken pipe behind a cast iron bathtub where the only access was to go in through the siding from the outside.  He did this on the same day I called him.  He fixed the water issue but since it was 830pm by then, he came back the next morning to fix the hole he had to punch into the outside of our house.  He gave use a run down of our options for how to fix the problem in the long run, but most importantly he got the job done quickly and without any fuss.  He also charged a super reasonable amount for it considering it was essentially an emergency repair done after business hours that necessitated cutting into the back of our house from the outside.

Jay met with us several times for estimates, inspections and walk throughs- through the property. He was willing to meet us according to our schedule and we never felt rushed through the process..this was before we even signed a contract with his company. His work is professional, he provided several jobs finished and in progress where we could go look and speak with former clients.
From budget to materials to timeline to actual work...Jay was flexible and speedy and we felt totally confident in his work and his staff.
He also has tons of connections from designers to architects who all were efficient and budget conscience.

FANTASTIC! Jay originally met me after normal working hours, which was very convenient. His estimate was received quickly after our meeting and work began almost immediately. His workers were on time every day, meticulous, diligent, careful, and considerate of my property. Jay was always available for questions or to review work or to do some of the work, himself. The entire process took less than one week - less than we expected - and the outcome was perfect. This was a first time experience for me with a contractor. I usually use free family labor. I did not want to burden others, so I hired Bedrock. It was the best decision. I highly recommend Jay and his team.

He is putting a new roof on my house. He also has put a new deck on my house. He is just excellent. He is very dependable. He does very good work and I know I can trust him. John is a very nice guy and his estimates are always reasonable.
