Description of Work: Scott tuned my piano and evaluated it for repairs. He was very honest and said it wasn't worth it to repair as piano is very old and in poor condition.

Description of Work: Scott was great. I had an upright piano that was not tuned in at least 20 years. As he assessed the issues he explained them and advised me of my options and what could be the results. Scott was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and his services.

Description of Work: Scott was extremely professional! He was right on time and performed the tuning quickly. He was also able to repair the music desk on the piano for a very reasonable price, which included him returning the part to my house and reinstalling it on the piano. We will definitely be using him for all our tuning needs in the future. Highly recommended!

 + 0 moreExcellent. If there is a better piano tuner i'd like to meet him. Scott is absolutely the best. I have had piano technicians recommended by professors at the Eastman School and Peabody. Scott's if far and away the best. He is skilled, prompt, reliable and knowledgeable- everything you would want in a piano technician. A true expert; true craftsman. And a really nice person on top of all that. Could not recommend him more enthusiastically.

 + -1 moreScott was on time, professional, polite and reasonably priced. He keeps good records (I had used him in the past and since moved), and he knows pianos.
Description of Work: Piano Tuning and repair of one hammer that was broken. My piano is over 100 years old, and had not been tuned in 6 years. The hammer gave way several days after the tuning. Scott then returned twice, once to determine what was wrong and a second time to replace the broken part.
