My car was overdue for an oil change. I'm new to the area, so I decided to give my local NTB a try. Overall, the service was fine, but consumer beware! Despite the friendly demeanor of the staff, you have to listen carefully to be sure that you're not overpaying for services that you don't need.
When my oil change was finished and it was time for me to pay, I was told that my 2009 Camry NEEDED synthetic oil (and that it even said that in the Toyota manual). So I pulled the manual up on my phone only to realize that it said no such thing. They then insisted that synthetic oil would keep my engine from and quot;locking upand quot; in the near future. They added that this was true for all Camry's starting with the model year 2007. I knew that this was untrue because since I bought this car a few years ago, this is the first oil change that was not completed by a Toyota dealer. The dealer ALWAYS put regular oil in my car. At the end of their attempt to get more money out of me for something that I didn't need, I informed them that I would only be paying for the service (and regular oil) that I agreed to when I dropped my car off. At the end of the exchange they seemed slightly annoyed but I was happy to keep that extra money in my pocket.
As I was driving home, I realized that they did not replace the sticker in my car letting me know when it was due for the next oil change. It was not a great end to my experience with this auto repair shop.

Auto Service, Auto Tires
Yes, I recommend this pro
This week I discovered that I was losing tire pressure due to a nail
puncture. After comparison shopping my local auto repair shops, I
settled on a Midas that had the shortest wait time and the median price
of $38.00. When I pulled up to Midas, I realized that there was an NTB
immediately next door. I inquired about the price of a patch (at NTB) and it
was by far the lowest quote I received at $22.
As I was being checked in to receive my service, I was asked if I bought my tires from
NTB. I didn't remember. They searched my phone number and discovered
that I bought my tires from there AND that (due to a tire warranty) the
patch would be FREE! That was the best news I heard all day.
The service was pretty quick and VERY friendly. I'd would highly recommend this NTB to my friends and family.
