M & M CUSTOM CABINETRY

As with an earlier job he performed for me, Mr. McIntyre proved that he is a true craftsman. He had to deal with difficult Code requirements, work with the people who built the stained-glass panels, and cope with my own requirements. The results were great--his frame was beautiful and perfect for the requirements.

The owner was very responsive and had great ideas about the design. My wife particularly liked the idea of using a felt backing that would accent the decor of the room. He came up with a great idea to mount the rackets and memorabilia using pins that would allow the layout to be changed periodically. Other cabinet companies included a mounting scheme that was permanent. . The workmanship was exceptional and I love looking at the cabinets every time I get a chance. I would use M&M in a heartbeat for another woodworking project. This was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor and the value was exceptional.

All items were custom designed and built, and Mac did an excellent job. The kitchen is small, so we needed to make the best use of space for storage. The bench is built-in and fits the space perfectly; and the table is solid. Mac worked with us on the design from start to finish.

He was very reasonably priced, professional, quick and did wonderful work. We will use him again.

We had been planning our kitchen remodel for a couple of years, and working on a design with M and M over that time. Anthony McIntyre (Mac) patiently worked with us over this time until we were satisfied with our design and ready to go. We visited his warehouse/manufacturing facility to see how he built the cabinets. We were very impressed with his quality control process and the quality of his cabinets. We had seen a job he did for a friend and that's how we found M and M. Mac worked closely with the contractor we hired to remove a wall and do all the other construction in the kitchen and on the main level of the house. Mac came out on a couple of occasions to measure and re-measure. When the cabinets came in, they were perfect, and they needed to be since my other contractor was installing them, and they were built to some exacting specs. Because our ceiling is only 7 1/2 feet high, and we wanted 33 inches high cabinets with crown molding, Mac was the only company we talked to who could even come close to meeting our specs. We had one other quote for $49,000.00 for cabinets to meet our specs. Mac did it for $18,000.00 and built strong, beautifully designed cabinets and a built-in wall unit. We have received many compliments on the redesigned kitchen, in large part because of the cabinets. Mac is great to work with and never gets frustrated with changing requirements. We will always go to him for our customized cabinet needs. I would advise anyone looking for custom cabinetry, or any other custom furniture, to talk to Mac at M and M. You will be glad you did.

While there was some delay in performing the work, Mand M kept me informed fairly well, and the delay was not serious and caused no difficulties for me. The staining took a full work-day and a couple hours into the evening. The result was beautiful: the staining was faithful to the wood grain but also produced an overall appearance that was quite uniformly attractive (which was not easy, since the fireplace is so large). I would definitely use them again, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs fine wood staining.

I have had a very good experience with this company, they always stay busy so they are hard to schedule but they are very good and they have fair prices. I have been very happy with all of the work they have done for me.

Their quality of work is remarkable. They paid extreme attention to detail when working on this project. It took about four to six weeks start to finish on this project. The price was good for all they put into this.
