Bernie's Heating & Air

he called me right after I went on angie's list to request for service. he came the next day looked at my a/c filter and checked the a/c unit and he wanted to charge me $500 just to charge system up plus $140 service fee. all I saw was a hungry guy who just want to take my money and didn't care if my system was ok or not. this was the worst service I ever had.

It went well. Bernie was prompt and did an outstanding job

The overall service went great.. house started cooling immediately.

We have a home with dual AC units and on one of the hottest days of the year (heat index 110 degrees), the unit that cools the upper level of our home stopped working. I joined Angie's List to find a reputable company to repair our unit without giving us the and quot;oh, you need a new air conditioning unitand quot; line, when I knew that the problem was either a freon leak or a bad capacitor.

I called two other companies that had more customer ratings than Bernie's, but neither of these companies could get out to check our AC unit until the next day. I called Bernie's and told them what was going on with my unit and they said that they would come right out to check it out. Not only was someone at my home within 45 minutes of me calling, Bernie himself came out, went right to work, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and was done in 30 minutes; and his fee to come out was less than the other two companies that I called initially.

I would definitely use Bernie's Heating and Air again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for someone that will not take you to the cleaner's because they know they have the upper hand when you don't have a clue about AC units or how to fix them!

Bernie, came and confirmed that my existing furnace would need replacement and could not be repaired. We have had insurance with Total Protect for over 11 years and they would not pay anything for my 31 year old furnace. They claimed that even though it was old, it had rust and corrosion from neglect. Bernie was the only good thing that came from our experience with this company. Bernie was prompt and professional. He is a pleasant gentleman and did a great job. I would highly recommend him

We had a problem with our air conditioning system. Bernie, the technician, was very responsive and fixed the issue. The price was reasonable. Overall, I'm satisfied with his services and I would recommend him.
