Don’t waste your time or money with this company. Just go through their yelp reviews to save yourself the headache. Unprofessional doesn’t even begin to describe the Chantilly location. There are many other cleaning companies that actually care for their customers.

I used the Cleaning Authority for about 6 months on a biweekly basis. Almost every time they came to clean, they missed a room -- and sometimes more than 1 room - -and I had to contact the office. Instead of refunding me for the cost of not cleaning that room/s, they wanted to come back to clean. This was an inconvenience because I would have to send my dog to doggy daycare again - as they don't want animlas around. -- and would have to find another time during the week that they could return Part of the reason for missing rooms is that they send out a different cleaning team each time. Also, they have a 1-2 hour window for arriving, and they would sometimes miss that window and my family would return home while they were in the house. Also, the team of two would work very quickly and sometimes leave in under an hour -- we have a single family home When I contacted the owner, he told me that I should expect cleaners to forget rooms sometimes, and when I said it was almost every time, he said that we had a "dark cloud over our house," as this does not happen very often. Then, he told me that it was best for me to find another service. When I got mad at his lack of understanding, he backtracked and offered me the next cleaning for free and to send the same team each time -- but, by that time I realized that a service that was supposed to make my life easier was actually more stressful. The cleaners and office people were very nice so I don't mean to rate them negatively.

I just have certain areas cleaned; bathrooms, kitchen and lower lever were we live all the time. They send out two cleaners at a time. They get it done in about 1.5 hours.

They do a pretty good job, their are some little glitches but that happens every time I hire anybody. I think they charge too much but they do the job when they show up. The cleaning is fine there's never a problem with the cleaning.

TCA does our weekly house cleaning and they are fabulous! We tried several other cleaners in the past and between broken items and not the best cleaning we decided to try TCA. We can't be happier...the cleaning team is very friendly and professional and the cleaning is spotless. TCA is very easy to work with if schedules change and I always feel that they value me as a customer.

In the past I had a cleaning service for my regular housecleaning, coming once every two weeks.  Unfortunately, as time went on, their attention to detail had deteriorated and I had become disappointed.  So, when I moved to a new home a year ago, I decided it was a good time to explore other cleaning services and make a change.  I decided on The Cleaning Authority.  First, they came to my home to do an evaluation of my needs, explain all the services and provide an estimate.  The price quoted was actually less than I had been paying before, and very competitive with any other service I considered.  They have been cleaning my house now for almost a year and I couldn't be more pleased.  The staff is always very pleasant during the times I'm at home when they do the work.  They work very quickly and efficiently and do a superior job.  I've used a number of services in the past and there is often a pattern - they start off strong and do good work, and as time goes on, they lack attention to detail and the work becomes very slapdash.  Not so with The Cleaning Authority.  After a year, the work is still excellent.  Another very important point - I often will contact them with special requests for extra cleaning sessions due to having guests in, or to modify my normal needs.  The owner, Steve Katz is always very responsive over email and the answer is always yes.  In short, outstanding service, competitive pricing and super customer service that stands up over time.  Who could ask for more?  If you're looking for a cleaning service, choose The Cleaning Authority.

We were not satisfied at first, (started over a year ago). Gritty counter tops, dust in the corners, mold and mildew left in the bathroom and the biggest problem was they were using Bon Ami on tub, without rinsing well. It left a residue AND diminished the surface polish on our jacuzzi brand tub. We spent a lot of time and money re-furbishing our bathroom, so we wanted to make sure they
used our cleaners. The mgr claimed bon ami did not scratch the surface, but I am an expert in this field, and yes it does. A year later, my tub's finish is totally dull,and I caught the cleaners using bon ami again. I had trusted they were using the cleaner I left out for them, as instructed by the mgr ("scrub free") , as he promised they would use whatever product I left out. I also lef tout a bleach cleaning product.
I had long since given up on the mold inthe tub area and just cleaned it myself before or after the cleaning service with a bleach mildew remover.
When I called to complain again about the tub being dull and bon-ami residue on the surface, he claimed he had no notes from the previous year's conversation. He asked me if I had notes from the conversation!? Anyhow, we let them go. But if you don't keep on top of these guys, they will not do anything special. I was even paying $20 extra a cleaning so they would spend more time, but after the first few months of this, it was hard to tell they were doing anything extra. Dust still in the corners of my bathroom, in plain sight., crumbs left under counter appliances etc.
What happened to people who listen to your requests and care for your home? This is the second cleaner we have tried. I guess I will keep looking,

The cleaning staff does a fine job on what they do. However, they clean only what is prescribed on a rigid schedule. This means that they clean the same areas time after time while ignoring dirty areas in full view. I'm used to a cleaning lady who made sure that everything in sight is clean, including windows. In addition, she washed dirty sheets and towels and replaced them. Now I end up working to get everything ready so the staff will do their job.

This was a last-minute job, booked on Thursday for work on Friday. The two cleaners arrived promptly, and they were quick, courteous and careful. I was very pleased with their work, and will definitely use them again to help prep my home for guests and events. The price was the $75/hour quoted for two cleaners - seems like a reasonable price.

The company quoted a minimum of 2 hrs with 2 people at $75/hr. I was pleased with the telephone (ie, no house visit required) quote and the ability to provide service at short notice (3 days). Two cleaning women arrived as scheduled and overall did a very good job. However, the work took 3 1/2 hours to complete, despite the fact I eliminated 2 of the 3 bedrooms from cleaning, as well as cut back the work in the finished basement to only include vacuuming and windows (2). The reason that I would most likely not hire this company again is based on the total cost. I've had cleaning services before that have done just as good work in shorter time.

I have been using their service for about six months. They are doing great. They send out teams of three or four. They use all of their own green products. There have been a few issues where they forgot to clean a few things but they were corrected in subsequent visits and they offered a credit for it.
