Billy was excellent. Very polite. Explained everything he was going to do. Very efficient. Will definitely use him again if I have any other issues with our garage doors. I definitely recommend him. He is really good.

Billy was wonderful, probably the best experience I've ever had with any service provider. Honest, professional, knowledgeable, kind and overall a good person. Lubricated all necessary parts, installed a vibration isolation kit, performed checkup/tune-up, thoroughly explained what he did and why he did it, gave multiple tips on maintenance, took his time answering all questions. Noise/vibration was reduced significantly. Even gave tips on how to calm down our newborn!

I was very pleased with his promptness and expertise and getting things done right - including checks and tuneups of the garage doors and openers.

We have used Billy Doors for years to repair our aging garage door.  Billy is always a pleasure to work with.  It came time to replace the door and motor and we looked to Billy - the replacement job was excellent.   He walked me through the options and suggested cost-saving measures as well.  He installed the door and new motor and patiently explained all of the features to my wife and me, and followed up by phone the next day. 
Often, contractors and repair companies are frustrating to deal with, either because they are not on time, do not return calls or try to overcharge or upsell more products or services.  Billy Doors is honest, trustworthy, responsive and responsible - I wish every home contractor was as good as Billy.   Bottom line - he does what he says he will do, when he said he will do it, and at a fair price.
I highly recommend Billy Doors for any garage door repairs or replacements.

Yesterday one of the springs of our garage door broke - we didn't realize it until we tried to put the door up and we couldn't.  We're glad that the car was already out of the garage when it happened.  The first (and only) name I looked for was Billy Doors - we've used them in the past (at our old house) and my mother used them before as well (on our recommendation).  
I called the listed number on a Sunday afternoon ~6PM and it was picked up on the second ring.  I was speaking to Billy himself - he asked all of the required questions and said he was able to come the very next day (today).  He gave us a two-hour window but called to say he could be here earlier if possible as a job finished earlier than anticipated.  With the coming winter storm we wanted to make sure our cars are inside so we were happy that he could come by earlier..
When he arrived he inspected the obvious problem but also asked about any other issues we were experiencing with the door.  I described that prior to the spring breaking the door wouldn't stay up by itself when disconnected from the motor.  I've known this is a safety issue but wasn't able to adjust it myself.  
He described what he was going to do, the types of springs he would use and then he got to work.  A short while later, he knocked on the door to our house and he walked me through everything - the replaced springs, the lubricated hinges and rollers and even how to adjust the lift & descent should there need to be any adjustments.  He ensured that I was able to *easily* lift up the door when disconnected and that it now stayed up by itself.  He also showed me that - indeed - the skafety reverse system was operating correctly.  We tried the door several times and it worked perfectly - and much more quietly than before - due to both the lubrication and the adjustments he did.  The garage door opener (installed by me) has never worked as well as it does today.  With the storm on the way, I'm happy to say that our cars are inside keeping warm.

First of all, I called Billy on Tuesday afternoon and he said he would be here between 10:00 and noon the next day. He showed up at 9:00 and was done by 9:30. This is the FIRST TIME any service provider arrived BEFORE he said!! I have used Billy for at least 15 years for different issues. He also replaced the bottom sections of my wooden doors a few years ago when just the bottoms had rotted out due to contact with driveway. I didn't even know this was an option. Billy is THE BEST! Also, he's a really nice guy and Very professional.

Billy asked me about the problem with the door opener, very specifically inquiring about the doors various behaviors. He then had me perform two actions to test for quick repair. These failed. He then had me perform a third action two to three times until I got it right. This took him at least 10 minutes. He could have easily skipped this and come to my house for a costly repair! He is excellent.

Excellent. Billy came himself on a Sunday with his son to install our door. He was punctual, efficient, and cleaned all debris before leaving. He also spent some time with us reviewing the door and its features.
