I will happily recommend Trademark to anyone who is in the market for a deck. From the very first phone call and estimate visit, everything went perfectly. Travis is very professional and patient; and, he answered/addressed all questions and concerns. He provides excellent customer service and followup communication. His crew worked diligently throughout the process and left the site tidy at the end of each workday. The job was finished on time, even with a day or two of rain and a holiday! Their attention to detail was quite impressive, and we literally could not be happier with our new deck. Thank you!

Travis, the owner, is very friendly and professional. The price he offered is competitive. Before we signed the project contract with him, we were shopping around. Some contractors we negotiated with were just like salesmen, but Travis has very good personality and ethics. That's why we finally chose him, and some of my neighbors also signed contract with him. Workmanship is good too. We have also referred his company to our friends.

The deck installation went fine. That being said From the deck installation I have requested prices twice on work to be done on another property I have and not so much as a phone call back.

We were building a new home and planned to use our previous deck builder from our existing home. We decided to get other bids for due diligence and found Travis of Trademark. He blew us away at the first meeting. He was young and fresh with ideas and had the best customer service. He did a free consultation and drew up a set of computerized set of plans. We revised them a few times since I had my own ideas, and he was extremely accommodating about that. He provided us a price and professional set of drawings that just seemed too good to be true. Our old contractor's price couldn't compare. We were still a little skeptical about Travis, but we visited several of his references and spoke with them directly. They couldn't stop raving about them so we decided to ditch our old contractor and go with Trademark!
It was one of the best decisions we made! He has his own regular crew that he has worked with for years, and I was so happy with them. I am extremely picky and happened to be home for a few days during the construction. I noticed they remeasured a couple of boards a few times and then wound up cutting things a few times to make sure it was precise. We also had asked for lights on the rails as well as a gate for my children at the top of the stairs. The crew chief proactively took the time to call me before continuing because the gate would cause the lighting to not be uniform and just wanted to check that I would be ok with that. After he explained, we decided against the gate so the lights would look all even. What a great suggestion!
If you need a deck or screened-in-porch, then I highly recommend you consider Trademark. Their attention to detail, exceptional customer service and overall outstanding quality of work for a reasonable price is too good to pass up!

This is the first review we have ever done because we couldn't be happier with our deck and the team at Trademark and we want other people to know. We've had bad experiences with contractors in the past so with fear and trepidation we contacted a few deck building companies. The minute we met with Eli from Trademark we were put at ease. Very professional, organized and prompt. We can't say enough about the crew - professional, courteous, perfectionists, hard working, on time and friendly. We do not have one complaint - our deck is beautiful and we are thrilled! We will be using Trademark again in the future for another project. What we tell our friends is....this is the experience you should have with contractors every time but sadly not all perform and behave in a professional manner. Thank you Trademark!!

My parents used Travis Murphy (DBA Trademark LLC) to do their deck at the recommendation of their realtor (who had used him previously, and had gotten 7-8 estimates before settling on Travis). Although he wasn't the cheapest option, he was willing to adjust his price based on other estimates. He was very accurate in estimating the time it would take to get approvals for the deck, how long the actual construction would take, etc. He made helpful suggestions, such as recommending that my parents forego a set of stairs to the ground (which would have been of limited functionaltiy anyway, since their backyard is small) and instead using that money to make the deck bigger. This was a very practical suggestion (more space, better security). Finally, his quality of workmanship was very good. Note that this doesn't mean he did any work himself; he merely made the sale, and his crew came out and did all the work. However, apparently he picks the right guys, because the job was done right. When the county inspector insisted on removing a trim piece to inspect some of the bolts underneath, Travis called him and once the inspector realized Travis's crew had done the work, he immediately approved the project without looking at the bolts, because he had inspected a number of his previous jobs. Overall, highly recommended.

Our existing deck had come to the end of its service life -- it was over 20 years old. In addition, we wanted to cover an ugly, cracked, and deteriorating concrete slab patio below the deck by converting it into a wood patio. We solicited multiple bidders. Trademark was recommended to us by our neighbor. Noel, from Trademark, was the first vendor that did not make us feel like they were trying to take advantage of our knowing nothing about construction, permitting, or decks. Their price was competitive and we felt good about their work, having seen the quality of the neighbor's construction. We signed with them. From the start, it was clear that they were concerned with bringing value to the customer experience. For example, we needed to provide a copy of the plat for permitting. However, we were unable to locate our copy. Instead of paying for a new one from the county, Trademark pulled the plat on file from the neighbor's construction project. Saved us a chunk of change.

They started ahead of schedule and finished within the stated amount of time. The construction of the deck and patio are absolutely fantastic. Unlike most decks with just a series of boards laid down, Trademark also takes time to add the niceties that make the deck look amazing. Edges are beveled, the end of the plank board is trimmed and framed. The rails have constructed in such a way as to combine aesthetic appeal with structural soundness. Each of the railing support posts are reenforced in the under structure of the deck. Another welcome surprise was the amount of care put into ensuring it was done and quot;right.and quot; For the wood patio, they had to contend with above-ground FiOS and Comcast cabling to the house. They built a trough-like structure under the patio to allow service access to those utilities. It would have been easy to just install the patio over the cabling and conclude it was someone else's problem. Throughout the process, they were in touch with us to confirm status, ask question, and ensure customer satisfaction. We are, indeed, very satisfied customers.
