The project went very well - Fairland scheduled us within a few days and replaced our ac unit and compressor - they were willing to communicate with our renters to schedule the service and performed the installation quickly and competently. We've used them before and since for smaller projects. They are easy to work with and really professional and nice to deal with - plus their technicians and professionals are competent and honest.

POSSIBLE SCAM WARNING: I had a written proposal from Fairland Plumbing to install a Magik-Pak 11EER 10kW heating heat pump. Upon installation, I realized the model number didn't match and they didn't advise me or my property manager of the change. They switched the model to a Magik-Pak 10EER 3kW heat pump that the manufacturer ceased production on March 1, 2019. They conducted a bait-and-switch to an inferior product with 20,000 BTU less heat and significantly worse energy efficiency as well as being end-of-life in 2019. When asked what happened, they advised they couldn't find the model they recommended in stock but didn't see the need to contact me since it could be hot outside soon. I contacted Magik-Pak who put me in contact with the primary distributor who had four in stock locally as of Jun 14. Fairland then advised they had no qualified technicians to do the replacement until September/October. Min continues to refuse to replace the unit with the model quoted. They conducted a bait-and-switch against me. If you've used them for an HVAC replacement, I'd strongly recommend you look at what you were quoted and what was installed. Please be careful with this company, they are very friendly and have competitive pricing, but when you look at what they installed (in my case) it was inferior and several thousand dollars cheaper than what I was quoted. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. If they choose to correct this situation, I will update this review.

Fairland showed up on time, dug down to the pipe, and replaced it with black poly pipe. Unlike other bidders who said they would "try to feed the replacement pipe through the old pipe, but if we have a problem we have to trench your whole front yard to the house, and kiss your walkway goodbye." The team dug one hole (YES NO TRENCH) to access the feed line. Then they went inside, jackhammered the exterior wall to expose the pipe, cut it, and attached the new pipe from inside the house to the old pipe. Then in a high tech manner (joking here) they attached the old pipe to their truck and dragged the old pipe out, while placing the new pipe in place. No more leaks, basement is dry. We have water. So, highlights of this company, I became aware of the issue on a Saturday. I call Fairland, I get Min after a brief advertisement. Straight through no wait. Min comes out the same day, surveys the situation, and takes pictures of my service point into the house because previous owner put dry wall up against the input pipe. Min sends me the quote Saturday night. Wanting more than one price, went to a "big name brand". 20% higher, with the "drag new pipe through old pipe" strategy described above. And some shady estimate practices that were meant to have homeowners insurance cover the majority of the cost, but my insurance company is not stupid. Called Min Sunday afternoon to confirm our contract? Work done on Monday afternoon. And Min's team cleaned up well, including furniture polish in my basement to take care of the dust from opening the wall. And all debris has been removed. I have an area of lawn to reseed for grass, but not a long trench with a destroyed walkway. So, bottom line? Fair price? Yes. Excellent work? Yes. Being so polite as to ask me if they could use my restroom? Yes! Fairland made a lousy weekend disappear in one day.

They were very good. He was here for about an hour. I haven't used a plumber in years, so I don't know if their price is comparable or what. I don't know what plumbers charge these days.

They are excellent. ?They are fair. They are reasonable. ?They came out twice without charging me anything at all trying to fix it.

Fixed everything very quickly.

It went really, really well. Our furnace stopped putting out heat and the thermostat was cutting off one morning. Our home warranty company said to use them, and we're really happy we did. They came out within a few hours of us calling, diagnosed the issue quickly as the fan motor having failed, and immediately went out to get the replacement motor. Everything was fixed within about four hours, maybe less. Our technician, Dinesh, was very pleasant to deal with and very professional. Would hire again!

They came out and unclogged the sink by snaking it. They did a good job. They were professional and helpful. He had all the equipment needed and knew what he was doing.

We used this company to install a toilet in an upstairs bathroom. We found out It was installed incorrectly when our living room ceiling leaked below the bathroom. After persistent correspondence and addressing the situation very sternly they came out and installed the toilet better and brought in a non-licensed subcontractor to replaster and paint our ceiling. We still needed to tweak the toilet install and touch up the paint job after they left but were not willing to deal with this company anymore. I would not recommend this company as they do shoddy work and only stand behind their work AFTER legal action is about to be taken.

The technician came to fix the leak and replaced a part, however it was found out later the wrong part. When I called back to make mention of this he merely shrugged my comment off. I had used this company for many years and had been impressed by the speed in which they came to fix plumbing issues. Never again.

They fixed the problem and they are very professional and good. They bring in the machinery and they just tore everything up. We knew in advance that they weren't going to take care, but they made a mess. It cost me another $1000 in landscaping to get it put right. All the plumbers are the same, they want to get in there and fix the pipe, they don't care about your lawn. It's not a specific criticism with them, the whole industry is like that.

utility sink/washer drain had always been a 'problem' due to installation 70 years ago! Finally, the castiron pipe began to breakdown and caused washer water to backup into shower in basement. it overflowed the shower pan. One plumber wanted to 'scope' for 600 plus breaking up floor, replacing drain for another 1500. Called Fairland, they came immediately (within 1 hour) assessed the work, came back and replaced the appropriate drainline, 'reworking' it to be done right, added a washer drain outlet rather than using the sink. On time, within estimate, and done right. At the same time, the disposal in kitchen was problematic and Fairland replaced that at a price that was exceptionally good. All the work was less than half the first estimate for the shower/utility sink drain replacement only. AND the drain is working exactly right now. Fairland is my plumber of choice!

They were near us, and are nice. They were not cheap, but they are near by and always available. When they say they will be there, they are there. I would hire them again if I needed too.

They where professional about everything they did. They are friendly when they where there. They where on time every time they came over to work on everything.

I was very happy with the job they did because they were on time and their quality of the work they was great. They got done pretty fast and they cleaned up afterwards, leaving everything looking good.
