Awesome. The technician knew just what to do, made simple recommendations that I could do periodically, and now I know what to look for and how to problem solve it on my own. He was friendly and polite, and did not mind my exceedingly curious dog "helping" him work. My appliances are old, and parts would be difficult to find, however, we did not need to search for parts!

So one evening I smelled a strong odor of something burning.  Couldn't find the source so thought it might be the heat pump.  The following day I opened the freezer door to discover that the ice was melting and so were the items in the fridge.  I called three service providers for a same day call; however, all three were unable to come out the soonest in three days!  I couldn't wait so opened the phonebook and found Service Master.  I called and the woman was very courteous and scheduled a service call for that afternoon.  Chris arrived at the stated time, calling before he arrived, went right to the problem and stated the problem was a burned out relay.  He said he would install a new relay but if the compressor did not come on in a few minutes, then the compressor was shot.  Fortunately for me, the compressor did come on and I was relieved not to have to buy a new refrigerator!  He then cleaned the coils before he left.  I was so pleased with his professionalism and no-nonsense approach.  I would definitely call Service Master in the future for any appliance repair!!!

The repairman could not find a problem with the dish washer and insisted the water was hot and running normally, which it is was not. He did not fix the machine and still charged me $100 for the visit. A complete waste of my time and money.

They?ve repaired my oven in the past but now it turns out that the problem is with the computer so we are replacing it. There was confusion the first time I called them so I found myself waiting all day which wasn?t much fun. Last time they said they?d be here between 10 and 12 but he came at 1:30. This time, they called to say they were running late. It would be easier if they could give me a more exact time. I don?t know if the cost is reasonable or not because I have nothing to compare it to.

Over the years, Appliance Master has repaired my Whirlpool washer and dryer, GE microwave oven, Magtag dishwasher, and Jennair range. In the case of my dishwasher, now 15 years old, a problem occurred shortly after the first repair, and Appliance Master returned and did not charge me for the second trip.
