Saul Navidad

When this house was purchased ten years ago, the boiler and radiators were all in place even though the contractor who rehabbed the house installed central air/heat. The radiators were only taking up space. I finally decided to reclaim that space and began calling salvage operations. I was given Saul's number by someone at the Brass Knob. When I called him and explained what I wanted, he said he is only looking for the radiators with designs on the fins. He came out as promised to determine if these radiators fit his criteria and he returned as promised (to the minute) to remove them. One of my radiators was under a cover that we could not get to during his inspection. When he returned, we saw that it was a plain radiator. He graciously agreed to remove it and dispose of it anyway - no charge to me. I was thrilled to meet Saul because because I had been quoted up to $800 to remove the radiators and repair the floors. And though I'm not happy that I now have to begin a search for a reputable floor company, I'm ecstatic to have those radiators gone.
