It went really well. They had a guy come in and made sure the job was done right before leaving. Never had a problem since.

I wanted to get my electricity panel upgraded to be able to install a tankless water heater. An electrician from Northeast came for free to insect the system and told me of the work that will be necessary and of the models I can purchase. They then sent me an exact estimate of the cost. The work was done professionally, minimally invasive in terms of holes in my walls and I was very much satisfied with their overall approach.

Jesse is a and quot;cracker-jackand quot; electrician--who I have worked with for years. Northeast ( and Jesse) did all of the electrical repair/renovations in my last house.

For this job, since there were several different kinds of problems to address, he came in quickly determined what needed to be done, in what order and went right to work. All of the work was done in less than a couple of hours and I was completely satisfied.

The job was basic for even just a high school shop class graduate, but that's not me, so it was graduate level for me. The man who came spoke little, went straight to work, completed it in 10 minutes. He knew what he was doing. The minimum cost seemed high, but I'd checked and found that it was actually lower than the standard minimum cost for the work. I'm quite satisfied and would not hesitate to call Northeast Electric for other work if needed.

I called Northeast Electric on a Friday afternoon after having a new washer and dryer installed that tripped the breaker. I was impressed that they apologized that they didn't think they'd be able to have anybody come over that afternoon, something I wasn't even thinking of. I originally scheduled a Monday appointment but had to call Monday morning to postpone until Tuesday - no problems at all. I received a call the morning of the appointment with an estimated time of arrival, and the electrician showed up right on time. Taking a look at the breaker box, he immediately got to work replacing the breaker in question. He explained everything he was doing, showed me how the faulty breaker felt different than the new one, and checked everything to ensure the new appliances would work as expected. Very happy with the overall experience!

After a professional inspection with photos, the office prepared a detailed written estimate. I'd already done some general research including costs. So, since they were local and had been recommended, I accepted their proposal as reasonable. We lost a week or two, due to mutually agreeable scheduling issues. They coordinated with the electric-utility for power shut-off and restart.
At 8:am Monday morning they were already on-site with the utility representative. The smart-meter was off, cutting power to the house and work was in progress.
Two workers spent the full morning, with 2 or 3 visits by a supervisor. After removing the old fuse-boxes, we added a new larger painted back-board for the larger circuit breaker-box. The electricians then re-wired the house circuit wiring into the new breaker panel-box. Work was exceptionally neat and orderly -- I was impressed. New grounds were added inside and out. No additional house wiring was required.
After wiring, the circuits around the house were checked, identified and labeled. They left everything neat and orderly around noon. Work quality was exceptionally good (I know good wiring practice). Overall the project was totally professional, quality work at a reasonable price.

Overall, Northeast Electric was very professional. The estimator came out and took notes and I received the official quote in the mail within a few days. Once they contracted for the work, they worked well with the schedules of my HVAC and framing contractors to ensure everything was setup at the right times. While they were here, I was able to have them replace a chandelier that did not match the style of my home for a minimal cost. They were willing to work within the constraints of my coop association while completing their work.

I did not receive multiple bids for the electrical part of this project since I had a good reference from other people in my building. Overall, the cost seemed fair.

I called Northeast Electric on the recommendation of a friend to do some minor electrical work in a home we were moving into. They sent someone to give us an estimate, which we thought was reasonable and then we hired them to do the work. The electrician they sent out was prompt, performed the work quickly and was professional. The only complaint I have is that they don't make appointments. When I called to make an appointment for the estimate I was told someone would call me. I didn't know what exactly this meant until a few days later I got a call asking if someone could come by to give the estimate in 30 minutes. I wasn't living in the home yet so this was a little stressful for me to race over there on short notice. Then, when I called to schedule the work I was told I'd be called the day before they were able to come out to do the work. I believe they called on a Friday and ended up coming out to do the work on a Monday. Not a huge inconvenience but just something I'd like to have a little more notice about. I think they work this way because they work with a lot of commercial businesses, so they don't really need to make appointments. Overall it was a good experience and I'd hire them again.

They were cheaper. They were great and professional. They got the work done in a day and told us that it would be done within a few hours. I didn’t have any specific problems with them.

They have been around for about 50 years. They first came out to give an estimate. I have a very old house. I have used them five or six times. The first electricians gave me some information which turned out to be wrong. There is an old hardware store downtown, and the gentleman there mentioned that Northeast Electric Co. had given them the best service. I have been using them ever since. They are always on time. They do the work and send us the bill later. They are never late. Their charge is probably a little on the higher side, but their work is always right on the money. I have always been happy with their work. They tell us upfront what can or cannot be done. All the lights in my house came back on except for two rooms and we couldn’t figure that out. The fuses were working fine. Then they came and explained it to us. There was no transparency in pricing, but you really don’t know how somebody’s price compares to that of the others. I like the way they operate. Their customer service is a big part of what they do.
