Chris Sharp personally inspected the roof, identified many issues, recommended a high-quality shingle, mad the repairs and re-shingled the roof. It looks beautiful and serves as the first point of protection against the weather. The crew worked hard, completed the extensive job (many different angles and slopes), cleaned up the residue AND made sure there were NO STRAY Nails around the house. Sharp's is probably the best locally-owned small business in the Southern Maryland area. I will use Sharp's for other work in the house. Highest recommendation I give.

Not good. Their price was lower for a reason. When they said they were finished we paid them. Then checked the roof and noticed 40 (FORTY) nails that were exposed. They did come back out rip of the shingles and replaced them. Which tore some of the ones around them. They also did not finish caulking the flashing around the chimney. Weeks later still was not caulked. The receptionist response to my 4 calls was that would tell Chris. I even offered to do work, if they could recommend what to use or drop off a used tube of caulking. Ended up going to Lowes getting the caulking and doing it myself. Weeks later still no response. Of course, we gave them the money before making sure all work was to our satisfaction. Make sure you check everything out before you give them final payment. I also picked up enough nails to totally fill the bottom of a five-gallon bucket. A few nails I could understand, but not as many as I picked up.

They were here for a week to do everything and were very professional and courteous. The attention to detail was impressive as we are very meticulous and wanted the house to look perfect. They definitely delivered on how beautiful the house looked when they were finished. The crew worked very hard and rarely took breaks despite the very hot weather. When the job was finished, they cleaned up every piece of debris and nails from the roof. Chris Sharp came to the site almost every day to check on the progress and then walked with us for a final inspection. Great experience with Sharp's Contracting.

They were absolutely outstanding. They did a superb job and everything's holding up really well. I'm saving about 30% in energy costs every month. It was all worth it. I recommend them to everybody.

Chris and his crew did a fantastic job on the house! They were dependable and very detailed in assuring the best job possible. I had daily contact with Chris and his assistant; sometimes several times in one day. If I had questions, they were readily available. I found his crew to be professional and friendly. They did a fantastic job in cleanup at the end of every day. The house was wrapped tightly when rain threatened to stop work on the project. I would definitely hire this company again and, in fact, am already considering doing so as we prepare for our next renovation.

ROOF: forgot to put BATHROOM EXHAUST VENT on new roof, had to come back, find where it was suppose to be., and install IN new roof. Roof leaked around dormers,( I hired someone else to fix. DID NOT want them back). while replacing vinyl trim, they used kerosene to clean around dormers and STAINED NEW ROOF, had to come back to replace stained shingles, also ,DENTED NEW GUTTERS, while fixing shingles. DID NOT REMOVE AND REPLACE VINYL TRIM, they ONLY COVERED OLD TRIM. I QUESTIONED THIS , CONTRACTOR DID NOT SPEAK ENGLISH well, he DID NOT UNDERSTAND what I was trying to explain to him. I tried to tell Mr. Sharp about this, He just kept sending same UNSKILLED people, and they kept making MISTAKES. I WOULD NOT HAVE THESE PEOPLE BACK AGAIN!

The guest bathroom remodel went extremely well and also uncovered a defective roof which had just been replaced 8 years prior. Chris and his crew jumped into action and within a few days we had a new roof. I've got to tell you that while the crew was up on the roof it was discovered that the previous company (which is no longer in business) had not replaced the tar paper and did a lousy job overall. Chris's crew not only had to replace the tar paper they also had to replace plywood in spots. Because this entailed more work Chris added an extra crew to help out and get the job done.

Excellent, any and all challenges were discussed and decisions made in concert with Mr. Sharp and ourselves.
