I hired Proper plumbing services to install new faucets for my new sinks that came with my granite countertops. I called them as I had used them once before and felt that they were fair. unfortunately, my previous experience was not evidence of future performance. Though the guys that showed up were very nice and respectful they arrived at my house at approximately 1:00 pm and did not finish until after 8:30 pm. The job was only to reconnect new faucets to the new sinks after having been disconnected for the countertop replacements. I specifically asked if the job was by the hour as I had to wait twice (over 2 hrs) for parts that they did not have. Upon completion of the job, it was a very big surprise when I was told they were charging me almost $500 dollars. I spoke with the owner who made mention of how long they were there and the complications of a 60/40 sink. Last I checked 60/40 sinks were quite commonplace and should not have been considered out of the ordinary. How he could even attempt to justify this price for the amt of work that should have been needed is beyond me. Especially when you are attempting to give someone repeats business. I will never use Proper Plumbing services of Brandywine Maryland again and I would strongly advise that you steer clear of this company if you have any other alternatives.

Job took too long to complete, crew arrived at different times each day, no quality control, no real coordination between work crew and Supervisor/Lead. I do not recommend this business and I will never have them work in my house again.

People were very nice but they tried to charge me $175 to take a cap off of the dishwasher drainage hose. They were also late because they said they never received notification from HomeAdvisor. Once I called them they came immediately

Quick and professional service.

I had a leak in my main inside water supply line. Home Advisor gave me contact information for Len the Plumber and Proper Plumbing Services. I initially called Len the Plumber and was give a window of 5-7pm for a plumber to come out. At 6:30pm, I get a call telling me the plumber had a family emergency, would not be coming and no other plumber was available. I called Proper Plumber and made an appointment for the next morning. Mr. Glenn Swann showed up within the agreed window and quickly diagnosed the problem and explained to me what was needed. We made an appointment for him to return that afternoon once he had the part (pressure reducing valve). Glenn retuned on time, installed the valve and tested the system and completely cleaned up the area. His final price was less than initially quote, which was much appreciated. If you need a plumber, I highly recommend Proper Plumbing Services. Great work, respected my time and home, and had a fair and reasonable price.
