+ -1 morePatrick Clerkin team was enormously helpful in explaining the problems with the house, including why the water damage had occurred and what the options were for patching, repairing, or replacing the existing structures. Even when there were some unforeseen delays, Patrick explained what was going on, so I felt confident in knowing what was happening and why. Patrick Clerkin and his team were thoroughly professional, arrived early each morning on workdays to have a useful, complete day (it was blazing hot by the afternoon in July), and transformed the outside of the house in a fabulous way we were not anticipating. We are totally pleased and feel confident and assured that the quality and completeness of the reconstruction and refabrication means we will have an outer structure of the house that will be in great condition for years.
Description of Work: Removed cornice and guttering, fabricated a new cornice, removed old, rotted support beams, and installed new support beams for the cornice and copper gutters, removed shingles and replaced on both the turret and the mansard roof and installed new copper gutters on the mansard roof, and made other repairs to the frames around the windows to prevent any more water leaks in the house. They worked on three story high scaffolding.
