We have a warranty contract with the people who installed the system. It’s a yearly contract. I have no basis for comparison for the price. The quality was good. They do very well. I’m using them and I’m very picky. I think they had a good design, they implemented it. They’ve been here for us when occasional corky things come up and they have answers for the questions.

It was a geothermal system with heating and air conditioning. Everything that they did, I think was around $30,000. They did a good job, I wouldn’t still be working with them if they hadn’t. I know the price was competitive at the time. They did it. They are extremely careful with any disturbance of your life or your work. I felt solely confident with their workmen being in my home and doing what the design had called for.

Overall was a good experience. Repairman seemed like he knew what he was doing and gave us a frank assessment of the problems we had (mismatched interior and exterior unit, leaky coil) and what it would take to repair them. Gave recommendations for firms that might be able to help us with our particular problem. Was understanding that we were on a budget. I don't know about heating/AC maintenance costs so I can't really give a good assessment on the price charged, but it didn't seem too unreasonable. I have to give a C for punctuality, however. When he did not arrive when scheduled, I called and they said that the serviceman had been held up at a previous job and that they were about to call me.

Within a couple of days after our phone call, a company rep came by to see what had to be done. He was courteous and professional - within a day an estimate was e-mailed to us and we phoned to schedule the work. We were pleased that the work could be scheduled the same week. Two servicemen arrived on time, they also were pleasant and courteous -- they explained how they were going to go about the job, answered our questions and went right to work. In all, it took a bit over two hours and we are pleased with the work.

All repair technicians were extremely courteous and clean cut folks. This was a large job that took several days to complete. The technicians were always promp and took extra care not to track dirt in or around the inside of our home. Covering was placed on the carpet and the techs cleaned up as they went along. The technicians were very knowledgeable and quite a pleasure to have working in our home. They clearly enjoyed their job and enjoyed working for this company. The systems work great too. We love the heat so far. It is so much more comfortable than the propane heat which we had before. The entire experience was very pleasureable. From Dustyn Owens who came out and gave us the estimate to the polite, cleancut knowledgeable technicians who did all the hard work, it was as painless as this could be for a home owner. Of all the contractor experiences we have had in Maryland (most have been horrible), this restores my faith that there are some good ones out there.

We find that our new unit is very efficient on both the gas and electric. This system is very quiet and we have not had any problems with it. They also arrived on time and they were quite professional when working with us.
