The Cleaning Authority - Bowie

I had plumbing problems after they cleaned for the second time.  On 2 separate occasions over a span of 6 months I had a plumber come out who removed cleansing cloths from the line.  They denied doing it but they're the only people who had access to my home.  For the cleaning part I thought they did a great job, but we could never come to a resolution on how the paper products were ending up in my toilet.

I've used this company for years, and am very satisfied.

Excellent. The original visit was just to get an idea of the size of the house and exactly what rooms we wanted cleaned and what rooms we wanted left alone. We were given a price and we scheduled our first visit by the cleaners. The cleaners came by when scheduled and did a great job of cleaning the house. Bathrooms, kitchen, knick knacks, dusting, vacuuming -- the works. I actually waited about 8 months before writing this review because I wanted to make sure they were consistent. They are! I can recommend this company highly.

I wanted to wait 6 months before writing a review because I wanted to make sure there was consistency over time. I called these guys because i got a direct mail piece from them some time ago. I had used another cleaning service but, unfortunately, it couldn't keep a consistent schedule.
When I first contacted The Cleaning Authority (Bowie, MD), they arranged to come out to the house to let my wife and I know what services they provided and an estimated cost based on our individual needs. Gary, one of the owners, came out and very professionally went over everything with us.  It was great.
We set up the first cleaning appointment for the first part of January 2013 and the first two visits involved their deep cleaning which is very intensive. After that is a maintenance cleaning which is also very thorough.
We only use them once a month (it's just my wife and me and it's not a huge house) and we love them. The ding our debit card after they have been here, they always call the day before to confirm the day and time.
I highly recommend them if you want a good house cleaning service that shows up and does the job right at a reasonable cost.

We used this cleaning company for 2.5 years. We were too busy too switch. We liked the crew very much, but the two owners, husband and wife, are completely unresponsive and unprofessional. The crew seems afraid of them and when there are any problems, the owners never apologize and exercise ridiculous judgment. The cleaning was fair, but very rushed. The worst part of our experience was with the owners when something went wrong, regardless of how minor, they took no responsibility and exhibited extreme unprofessionalism. I would skip using this company.

I wasn’t that pleased with them. I wasn’t real impressed with it the first time they came, and then the second time was even worse. We are not using them anymore. The first time was their initial cleaning, and that was $150, and the second time was $100. After they were gone, I went by and wiped my hand across the top of a bureau, and I got dust on my hand. So, obviously they didn’t clean very well. There is a large picture of a painting I have on the wall in aluminum, and they have these long, extended dusting things, and they dusted part of it and left. So, now we can see the dust marks where their duster had just hit several places along the top of the picture. They just didn’t do a very thorough job. The price was probably average.
