Purchased a package for several cleanings.

My wife sent me a coupon for 20% off or something to that effect but it had to be complete by a certain date.  There were no dates available that fit into my schedule so I just went ahead and scheduled for a future date.   As I was putting in the number of rooms in the website, it kept telling me that I could add more rooms for what appeared to me to be a price of $99.  I input all of my information and scheduled the appointment.   SS called me and confirmed the appointment but never mentioned price. When confirming the number of rooms in my appointment, the number she had in her system was twice the number of rooms I had put in the website but we got that squared away.  I then received an e-mail confirming the appointment with the correct amount of rooms.  SS showed up within the appointment window and the employees were courteous.  I showed him the areas that needed cleaning and he said he would take measurements and give me the price (I had no illusion it was going to be only $99).  He came back with a price of $470 and I discussed the fact of the $99 price I had seen online and he informed me that was a national website and didn't necessarily apply to his store. He further informed me that they have a minimum charge of $120 but I have an e-mail that clearly says minimum of $99. My wife wanted the floors professionally steam cleaned so even with the discrepancy I chose to go ahead with the service.  But, I was also anticipating the service to include sealing the tile and grout because when you look at the website, it locks all that together in the description of the service.  When it came time to pay, he recommended that next time we get the grout sealed with the service which began the discussion of how the website gives the impression that was included, but it's not, it's an additional $.70 a square foot.  So I informed hm there would be no next time with SS because it's apparent I fell for the very old scheme of low balling, getting in the door and then the price goes up.  As far as the quality?  I couldn't really get a read on how clean the grout was when they left because it was still wet and dark.  When it dried, I discovered it looked absolutely no better than when I cleaned it with my home steamer.  So, here's the bottom line.  Ensure you discuss in depth with SS what you want done and what the price will be before scheduling an appointment.  Then go out and buy yourself a steam cleaner and do it yourself and save yourself several hundred dollars throughout the life of your floors.  I would not recommend SS to anyone for any reason.

I had my tile and grout floors cleaned.  I am pleased with the results - not ecstatic.  I can't really see any difference in the before and after.   There was supposed to be hand spot cleaning on the grout but I see no evidence of that.

They cleaned a VERY dirty recliner and I am quite happy with the results.

Workman were very polite and language was not a barrier.  They were timely  - coming about the middle of the time window.

They did leave the nozzle off of our faucet but were very good about returning the next day - after I called.

Stanley Steemer were prompt, professional and did a great job. I had no issues or unexpected costs. I'll use them again. I think they could have gotten the stairs a little bit cleaner.
