Ron The Plumber inc

Seemed competent when I made the appointment, but quickly went downhill. The plumber dispatched -- Dave -- called on his way, but seemed to have no idea what the job entailed, so delayed to the next Monday so he could get parts. Charged over $1000 for 5 hours of work installing a vanity and fixing a shower handle. Dave from RtP was not capable of fixing the hole in the wall he made, properly grouting the new shower handle/head to the wall, or securing the vanity to studs, so had to use another handyman he recommend for that. Other guy pointed out that Dave had installed the wrong kind of piping behind the showerhead, so it could not be properly attached to the wall. Dave was difficult to communicate with and not especially friendly. Would not recommend.

Job was performed satisfactorily.

Ron the Plumber answered my early morning call to repair a clogged kitchen sink. The plumber (Ron) came to my home promptly and repaired our sink. We are back in service again and it didn't cost an arm and a leg! Very professional and honest company.

My water pipes had a consistent tapping/knocking sound in the line that progressively grew worse. I purchased the water pressure regulator, and Ron provided the labor. He uninstalled the old regulator, and installed the new one, and that fixed the problem.

They came right away, they were quick, we didn't have to wait days for an appointment. They did a good job, the toilet hasn't leaked again.

Easy to work with and knows his stuff (Ron) (but not the man for whom the business gets it's name).

Fabulous! Dave, from Ron the Plumber, showed up on time and described the solution to our problem, multiple overhead pipe leaks in our downstairs bathroom.. He didn't have all the necessary equipment he would need that day, but showed up a day later, rearranged the piping, fixed the problem and was well worth the cost for his expertise. Couldn't be happier, and we're having him come back next week to redo our kitchen faucet and sink. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Fair, honest and hard working.

Frank from Ron the Plumber was prompt and courteous.    Our house is 105 years old and we are often met with eye rolls and discouraging remarks when they see our plumbing.  I explained that we plan to renovate the bathroom soon and just wanted a quick fix to stop leakage  and Frank   got right to the job and fixed the problem.   I would absolutely hire them again.

• The service person was called ahead and was on time. He was courteous and careful in the house with floors and furniture. He diagnosed the problems immediately and showed me what caused the problem.  The problems were fixed fast.

He's a familiar person and he does plumbing in the area where I live.  He's very good.  You call him and he comes over to check it out.  He's just a nice person.  The guy who also works for him was nice too.

Due to all the water, and having to shut off all my water they came to my house immediately.  Checked the floor above and did not find the leak.  He was able to locate the leak and fixed it on the spot.  Within two hours I am up and running again!

Ron is the older gentleman who used to go my mother. A younger one is working for him now. His name is also Ron. I used him a year ago but I need to get him out here. That’s pending. I need a new faucet in my kitchen. My mother had him for quite a few years even after she lived alone. He has done a lot of things for her. My sister uses him also. I have used him before and I plan to use him again. I’m happy with him. He’s a pleasant guy. The cost was good. He does good work. His responsiveness was really good.

It went well, even though the issue turned out not to be a plumbing issue. I appreciate the fact that he did identify the problem so that I can call the correct tradesperson to fix the issue.

While he was checking out the pipes, he did identify some places where there is impending corrosion/pinhole leaking developing on my copper pipes (a continual problem in Bowie, so I'm told by my neighbors). I will keep watch over those spots or if the HVAC company also does plumbing, will have that run of pipe replaced. I also asked him to identify my various shutoff valves in my basement so that I could appropriately label them.

All in all, I was more than happy with my service and would call upon Ron the Plumber to do work in my home.
