I bought 4 large appliances online from Lowe's website and other than the automatic email confirmation of what I had bought I never heard from them for 5 days so I went to the store. The online person at the store looked up my order and was surprised that I had not been contacted. She told me the delivery was coming from another store, that all the items I ordered were on "special order" (whatever that meant!) and gave me that Lowe's store's phone number, which I called right then and there. After 15 or more minutes of waiting for their delivery person to answer the phone, the online person called them with no success. I told her I wanted to cancel my order which she did and then she brought me to their appliance department where the manager there proceeded to lecture me about how great Lowe's client relationship is and that they would take care of my order and then rather than attend to my order he just walked away leaving me and the online person stunned at his quick disappearance! There was another attendant there and he was totally trying to ignore us at which point the online person said she would take my order herself but by that point I was so disappointed and insulted with Lowe's that I could not possibly continue to do business with them, nor will I ever. The approximate amount for all 4 appliances was $10,000.

.The installer did a good job installing the dishwasher and the dishwasher is working great.  I would recommend buying from Lowes again based on this experience

The Lowes person was prompt and courteous, keeping us informed throughout the process. The contractor was also prompt, courteous, and professional. The work was quality and we were consulted if something would not work based on the original design. It was addressed in a timely manor.

The day after cancelling my order, I received a call from the binds department manager offering a 20% discount on my blinds and and install date 5 days later in an effort to make the transaction right. I accepted and my blinds were installed 21 Dec 2013. The installer did an exceptional job and was very professional. On 22 Dec 2013 I received a follow up call from the blinds department manager checking to see if everything with my install went as expected.

Despite the stores effort to correct the issue I encountered with trying to purchase and have blinds installed, would not recommend using them until the blinds department works out their internal communication, scheduling, tracking and efficiency.

Updating overall grade to C as the actual installation of the blinds went smooth and the installer was very professional.

The door was $1,600, water heater was $2,900, fans were $230, dishwasher was $800 and the install for it was free. The guy installed the dishwasher wrong and they had to have somebody else come and do it correctly. They had a better quality of selection than another big box store. They did a good job on everything.

They hired an outside contractor that had to come back twice. The first time they installed it, the job was not acceptable. I contacted Lowe's to have them come back out to do more work. I plan on buying a new door to replace the contractor's work. They did not do the service I expected. The new door will not come from Lowe's.

Lowe's do custom blinds. They come out, they measure your windows and they come out and install them. They fit perfectly. They're real good. The only weird thing about it was the guy that did it was not very professional in a way that he presented himself. He looked like a scrub and there wasn't much of professionalism involved. Other than that everything else was great. I like them too because they do a lot of sales and discount. We had the same quote form these windows from another company and it was going to be $3500. The actual people that sell it to you at Lowe's was really good. The guy that actually came out and did all the measuring, he seemed kind of like a scrub.

I am very pleased with the experience. The countertop was very expensive because it is made of recycled materials, but Lowes' bid was the lowest. Additionally, the installers were friendly and gregarious, worked quickly, and did a fantastic job.
