It was excellent.  They did it in a very timely manner, very punctual.  They removed all the debris and they ground the stump.  I was very happy with the result.

From the initial contact to completion of a job that I am very satisfied with took less than a week.  I assume this quick turn around was just luck since the other folks I contacted could not schedule the initial visit in that time, but this worked out very well for me.
The owner of Greenleaf Tree Service agreed to a site visit the day after the initial contact.  He arrived promptly and assessed the situation, and recommended trimming specific trees instead of removing them.  I asked lots of questions about how effective this solution would be and he addressed each one drawing from extensive experience with tree servicing.  I had focused on one area where I could see there was a problem, but he pointed out other potential issues that I hadn't considered yet.  He wrote up what I considered an exceptionally reasonable quote, considering that I had expected to lose a couple of tress, and he had expanded the scope of the work to address all issues threatening the roof.  He estimated that the work could be done in a few days, but had to confirm this in the office.  He called back two days later and we scheduled the work so I could be there (but that wasn't required).  The team arrived promptly and the owner was present to introduce them.  They did the work in a few hours, cleaned up, and I'm a very satisfied customer.

Jim and his crew arrived on time.  Jim has an excellent crew who worked quickly and efficiently.  They removed two extremely tall trees and removed dead branches from additional trees around the yard.  They clean up as they go and remove all debris.  We have used Greenleaf before and will use them for our tree removal and trimming needs in the future.

Initially Jim was very nice and of course this is due to him wanting my services/money. He gave me a set price for having trees removed/stump grinded. He came out andlooked at each tree himself. He initially quoted me for a different tree and then said that that particular tree wasnt in the contract, which it was. he instead claimed that a skinny tree was the one that was included in the price. I should have taken pictures because he was wrong and clearly trying to get over. I asked him if we could split the job in half which he was ok with either way he was still getting the same pay. Anyway, both myself and my neighbors told him that one particular tree needed to have tree stump killer poured into it within 30 min of cutting it down. He said he would chop it up & pour salt into it. Not only did he not do that, but he came up with a story that he wasn't able to grind 3 of the stumps & decided on his own to grind stumps from trees that had been chopped years ago before I even moved in! Shouldnt he have known that hevwasnt able to grind them when he came out and gave me an estimate? I wrote out a check and he called me back with a horrible attitude telling me that his prices went up and that the check was incorrect Instead of politely telling me that his prices had changed. I told him that it was no big deal and that i would meet him the same day with his whopping $75 check for his price change. I also wrote on the bottom of the check that one more stump was to be grinded. he never showed up to do the job. The tree that we said would grow back if he didn't pour stump killer on it grew weeds all through my yard & through the neighbors yard! I have to go out every other day to kill the weeds. he also told me that the wood chips would dissolve, months later, they are still there! When I called him back about finishing a job in which he was paid for, he avoided every call & message and never returned any calls.. When my mom called from another number he immediately answered. I called him back and he was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional and I would not recommend his services to anyone. He charged for services that he did not complete and did a horrible job! I saw on another website where people expressed how rude and unprofessional he is and I wish I'd saw it before using his services cause I never would have dealt with such a scammer

He was prompt in giving us an estimate and did the work fairly promptly, although he did schedule the jobs only a few days before. Since his work is dependent on the weather, it is understandable.
We had two trees much taller than our house, one in the back yard inaccessible to large machines.  His crew cut down the trees promptly and efficiently and left little mess. 
We found him friendly and accommodating.  The second tree they cut up part of the second tree for our fireplace with no additional charge.
The work was very good and his prices were much lower than others.

I contacted the company for an estimate which was promptly received. I accepted the estimate and indicated the tree could be removed at their convenience. It was December and a dead tree didn't really stand out. They removed the tree and cleaned up after themselves. The only annoyance was while I explicitly told them I didn't really care when it was removed they didn't indicate to me when it would be removed until a day or two before.

During Friday night's "microburst" storm, here in Cheverly, a very large oak tree planted just a few feet from our carport started to split into two, with half of the trunk aiming toward the roof of our carport, the other half leaning toward our next door neighbor's house. We called Jim Wimer of Greenleaf Tree Service - we had previously hired his company to remove two old dead/dying trees from our property when we first moved here last fall.  So, luckily, we had his phone number at the ready.  His crew was out here first thing Saturday morning, and they got the entire tree (which turned out to be rotting from the inside out) down safely.  They returned this morning to finish hauling away the trunk and debris.  We are so grateful to these guys for their speedy, safe and professional work.  http://greenleaf-treeservice.com/  Jim is a certified arborist, and he is licensed by the state and insured.  We recommend them highly.

The crew was punctual and professional.  The work area was cleared and cleaned including replacing the fence section. The entire job from start to cleanup took less than 3 hours.

Great work and low prices, what more can I say.  Jim is a super nice guy.  The other quote I had from a service magic vendor was literally double the price.  I felt so good about this deal, I told my wife I feel the need to give him a tip. He might take some time to call you back.  Both call him and send and email.

Some of the branches were dying and were breaking off in bad weather. They trimmed the low-hanging branches and dead limbs. They were punctual and professional. They also did a great job cleaning up.

Jim's crew arrived at the agreed upon time and removed a 60  foot sycamore in less than 3 hours. They cleaned up the yard, ground the stump, and left me the wood... cut to the length I requested. The price was the same as the estimate. A very good experience.

After a little phone tag, Jim came out to give a free estimate.  The estimate was clearly written and he did not pressure me at all.  I called later that day to arrange a date and time for the tree removal.  Our tree was removed the very next day!  It was a three man team who did the job and all were friendly and professional.  They completed the tree removal, stump grind and clean-up in just over an hour.  We are very happy!  Job well done!

The whole experience was positive. They were quick to come out and give an estimate, they came when they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. They were pleasant to work with and they got the job done for what they said they would do it for.
