That was a result of a car dying on me. I had to have it towed there. They found that the problem was the timing belt. But they also replaced the water pump which is not unusual whenever they have to take the timing belt out. It is generally a good idea to replace it. They were rated very highly in the area in Angie's List. I had used them before. They are very professional and they do excellent work. They are very reputable. They are a little pricey but not as pricey as some other places.

They have been in business for awhile so I feel like I can trust them. They are reliable and did the job in a timely manner. They were courteous.

I obviously picked Autotech because it had a great review on Angie's list and let me say I was not disappointed. I was a walk in and I was informed that while they couldn't see me now, I was welcome to wait until they could or come back later, I chose to come back later since this place is near my house. When I arrived The second time I was greeted very warmly. While I waited for my vehicle I was delighted to see their waiting room, while small, was a lot better than any other auto waiting room I have ever sat in. The chairs were very comfortable and nice there was a big flat screen tv (which they leave out the remotes for customers to pick channels) they had a keurig coffee machine and a ton of breakfast type snacks (complimentary). There was a vast assortment of magazines to read and they're bathroom was exceptionally clean. Needless to say I was not bored while I waited for my car, they also have wifi for customers as we'll. They took my car in to diagnosis the sounds I was hearing. After they did an analysis of my car, they discovered a crack in my muffler assembly, they gave me a written estimate and said they could order the parts and complete the job today. I was very happy since I did want it fixed ASAP. It hey gave me an approximate wait time of about 4 hours, I told them since I lived by I was going to walk home and wait, they refused to hear it and insisted on giving me a ride home. I receive a call when the work was completed and when I picked up my vehicle she sounded absolutely fantastic, no more horrible noise! While I do think I may have been able to get the job done cheaper somewhere else, I was happy with the work they did but even more happy with the customer service. I am angry satisfied customer and oils absolutely recommend Autotech Car Care.

Good service and excellent diagnostics. We've used Greg and Dave and the guys at Auto Tech Car Care for the entire time they've been in Bowie. First they were able to solve a problem with our old Suzuki 4x4 that even the dealer couldn't diagnose and repair. Since we bought the GMC they've done all but the dealer recall work.
They are patient in listening to my explanation of what I think the problem may be (and it's symptoms). They do good work and keep me informed as tehy go through the diagnostics adn tehn let me know any unexpected findings so I can decide the amount of work I want done.
The waiting room is the nicest, cleanest, most comfortable of any I've seen in a neighborhood repair shop! The K-Cup coffee machine has a wide assortment of coffees so you can have the freshest cup of a favorite type as you wait in a comfortable cahir. AND they will drive you to work!

The people here are so wonderful. They know every person who they work on and know every name of every one. They address everyone as Ms. name or Mr. name as soon as you walk in the door.
They explain exactly what they are going to do and start the work. If they find something they think may be to be done, they will come and talk to you about that because it could have been on a recall list, or according to the car's maintenance schedule.
If you want whatever it is fixed OK. If not, they will tell you how long it will be before this item has to be fixed.
Then if the time limit is going to go over and tell you how much longer and or more it will take and let you make a decision.
It's like having your father or brother have a discussion w your car and making it easy for you to make a decision.

Auto Tech was very helpful in getting the right Towing Companmy involved. Once the vehicle arrived at their facility they were very quick in getting an estimate to me for the repairs that were needed.The erpairs were done in the time frame that they quoted and the vehicle is running great once again.

Took the truck in Mon Early, due to rough idle. While it in the shop, husband also wanted the belts replaced. They diagnosed the rough idle via road test and computer. Replaced the fuel injector, regulator, and belts as requested. They did an overall check of the truck, and also found the battery was close to dead (over 5 years old) and recommended a tuneup. Decided on just the battery for now, but will be going back for the tuneup. Everyone was professional, and the BILL included a letter from the Technician, so we'd know who to contact if we had any concerns. It was nice to know his name, so I could tell his boss "Job well done."

I came to these folks solely on the ratings they got from Angie's List. They're relatively close by my house and as long as I remember the speed cameras on the way to the place, it's easy to get to.
Very friendly staff, super comfortable waiting room area, clean restroom facilities. it's the cleanest and friendliest car repair place I've been to.
I made an appointment for my brake work and they had my car ready by late afternoon the same day. I then had to get a catalytic converter in order to get through emissions and they ordered the parts and set me up for same day service.
I like the warranty on their work - 12 months or 12,000 miles.

I have referred several of my friends this year. They are very good. They are a little bit more expensive than others.

My car was leaking a green fluid. I went to Auto Tech to determine the cause of the leak. I explained, I have an extended warranty with GM, but do not trust the local dealer. I was told, it would take 30 minutes to pressure test the cooling system, and would cost $45. They tried to talk me out of spending the money and to just take it to the dealer. I declined, and asked them to go ahead and check the car. I promptly received a call, and was told the AC Condenser was damaged and had a hole in it. The charge was $0.00. WOW.

I experienced quality, professional courteous interaction with them. They did quality work. They spent time talking to me, explaining to me about my car. I could even see my car while they were working on it. It was very open and friendly. I have a Honda and I would definitely go there for things such as oil changes and tyres, work that won't be that major, although I don't doubt that they could not do major work. I do trust them and that means a lot. I would definitely use their services again in the future. I went to them with a bill and work that was required to be done as it was stated to me by another company. The work that was expected to be done was to replace the brakes and roders and the strader was leaking oil. They checked all of that. However, after testing the car and after looking at it my bill was reduced from $460 to $31 and that was the important thing.

The service was very good and cordial . Explanations were given and why the repair should be done. All problems were solved to my satisfaction. This company has a very good business model.

It was excellent. I received information from Angie's List about this company and decided to use them. At first I went to the Honda dealership because they told me that they repair the tire. As it turned out, the Honda place was unable to repair the tire. I called Auto Tech Car Care and they were happy to help. I went there and was very impressed with their waiting room - it was just like home. They had leather seats, a nice flat screen tv, and complimentary food and beverage options. Their bathroom was very neat and clean, I was very pleased. The staff was very friendly and treated me like I was their old friend. After the service, I found a letter from the service tech, thanking me for the opportunity to service my vehicle. The next day I received a call from the manager thanking me and welcoming me back for future service.

Needed immediate repair of braking system due to my procrastination, they were extremely busy but agreed to squeeze me in. Though I belief they probably wanted to call me an idiot, they refrained and resolved my problem. I would use them again if I could get in!!!

All work completed as promised; appreciated their trying to find a less expensive part. Very professional manner. Will definitely use again.

There wasn't anything they could have improved upon. It was during a snowstorm and they had the truck towed. They fixed it promptly and they actually came to my house to bring me to pick it up.

I've been using Auto tech for 3 years now and every service and or repair has been excellent and affordable. The staff is competent and the management very customer focused. They have a thorough knowledge of cars that you don t always find at other repair shops. I've never had an issue that they could not troubleshoot and repair. Repairs are discussed before committing to a repair bill which is good on high dollar issues. Work is always done on time. I highly recommend this shop.
