They did very good work and they were very helpful.

Finished job looks nice and was completely in a timely fashion. Workers stayed late to get the job done. I felt they tried to do a good job.
I was unhappy about two things. When pricing the job, the owner did not realize or neglected to tell me that I would also need to have a small retaining wall built because of the amount of dirt being removed from the flower bed. I had to bring up/discuss the situation with him after the job had been started and ended up paying about $300 dollars more to have a very small retaining wall built to hold back the dirt under a small wood porch. The second issue involved the amount of damage done to my lawn when the backhoe was brought in. The workers attempted to reseed the area and cover it with straw, but they did not loose the top few inches of soil when putting down the grass seed. The ground had been compacted by the backhoe tires, and the grass seed did not take. I have several large areas I am going to have to try to reseed myself when I have time.
Overall, I was happy with the patio area and the work itself, with the exception of the two items listed above.
