He was very honest, helpful, and did exactly what he said he would do. He also worked with us to troubleshoot some issues that we were having and gave us ideas for future work we might need. The cost of service was lower than quoted, which was great!

Project background: Car accident took out nearby utility pole that tore electrical service off the side of the house along with a large amount of vinyl siding. Since the electrical service was old, it required an upgrade and we chose to go with a new 200 AMP service. Wife also wanted new windows as some were fogged. Had contractor recommended by neighbor come out for estimate in May. Neighbor was assisting as my wife is foreign born, and neighbor had extensive knowledge of building trades.
Laborer we hired did a great job of removing old siding and getting ready for contractor to install windows, siding. Wife took list to local vendors and purchased siding, front door and windows per contractors direction. Wife assumed that once materials were delivered that project would begin, approximately mid July. Contractor said he couldn't start until Aug 1st, a delay of 2 weeks.
Wife gave initial deposit 1/3 in May. Workers came out to install support (2 x 12's) for new electrical service. Support was actually made up of pressed board door wrapped with aluminum. Both wife and electrician objected to construct of support. (press board absorbs water), contractor pushed her to accept item despite her objections. She said she didn't want this but he would not remove it. Other workers came out to fix separating seams on front porch roof. Wife continued to complain about wooden support as electrician refused to install service on it. Support was installed incorrectly as it was too close to window to allow install of shutters.
Large storm came through mid July which caused extensive internal water damage to finished ceiling on 2nd and 1st floor due to lack of siding and windows removed in preparation for job. Wife called and asked for help to stop further damage but "he was too busy to assist". She ended up calling on help from neighbors to stop immediate damage and cut out damaged drywall on ceilings to prevent mold growth. I was out of the country and could not help. Since wife had to get another contractor to help prevent further damage and provider was both unresponsive and unwilling to replace wooden support for electrical meter, she became very angry and FIRED him. Wife said she would pay for work that had been completed. Neighbor even remarked that he had never seen her so angry. Provider was not happy about this and left the wooden support for electric meter in place. Wife had to hire additional contractor to de-install support and replace with pvc based support that would not rot and allowed clearance for shutters.
Received bill in amount of $825.00. $350 labor, $250 material (roof repair) and $225.00 for 2x12 support that was actually press board door. Provider returned deposit less $825.00 for bill. Wife complained about cost since it was double the estimate for roof repair and the wooden support that she did not want had to be removed. Wife said she would only pay $200.00 for what they did. Provider told her he would refund $625.00. A month later, no check, wife called office but her calls were ignored. No refund was received. When I returned in Sept I contacted provider who called me and said that he was not going to refund any monies and that the $825 was actually a discount based on the amount of time he took to do the estimates. Of course their website says estimates are FREE.
Had I been here this never would have happened. The roof repair (seams) were unnecessary. An edge lap seam was coming up that only required to be glued down again. I would not have allowed them to put up press board door on the exterior of a house regardless of how many years one claims to have been doing it. I feel my wife was taken advantage of and promises were made that were not fulfilled. I cannot in good faith recommend this provider for any type of service.
Thankfully my wife terminated the contract before any substantial work was done and my financial loss with this debacle was minimal.

They fixed the problem. We have had several people to try and fix it. They were very professional and on time. The owner of the company stopped by last week to make sure that everything is still okay.
