Bates Trucking Trash Removal Inc.

My experience thus far has been horrible. In 3 years as a Bates customer, I have to make at least 35 calls for missed pickup. I've never received a credit nor a call back from a manager. 2 days ago I received a letter about price increase of 80 dollars a year. For what ! How this company is still in business is astounding. I will be canceling my service very soon.

Everything was fine with Eastern Shore Waste and Recycling until the Denton, Maryland company was bought out in February 2016 by Bates Trucking Trash Removal in Bladensburg, Maryland. Since Bates has taken over, in spite of them being paid for an entire quarter (May, June, July of 2016) Bates has only picked up my trash once in the past 7 weeks. They will not answer the phone 99% of the time when called, and when you are lucky enough to actually speak to someone, they make false promises just to get you off of the phone, then their promises go unfulfilled. They do not respond to emails nor do they respond to certified USPS letters. They have my money, but otherwise it is as if the company does not even exist. They are currently under investigation by the Maryland Attorney General Consumer Protection Division for failing to provide the services they were paid for by hundreds of Maryland residents.
