SUNNY PAINTING

We have used Sunny many times. For this job they painted the living room, dining room, hallway, and bedroom and while doing this job, removed unwanted decorative molding and repaired the wall after the molding was removed. The living and dining room involved two coats of paint in three different colors (tan walls, cream white trim, and ceiling white ceilings and also included a lot of edge detail. The bedroom was blue, cream, and ceiling white, while the hall was white on white. All of the rooms are oversized with 9 foot ceilings. The result was flawless. All of the edge detail was crisp and there were essentially zero paint spatters. These are the best painters I have ever used.

Wonderful. I had used Mr. Shin (Sunny Painting) the year before to repair and paint our outside shutters. He is responsive, puntual, intelligent, a problem solver, and professional at all times. This Spring, I needed a quick turn-around on painting and repairs, because someone was moving in. He was able to fit the work in and the results were flawless. Also, he noticed my gutter had pulled away from the roof, and he got on a ladder and fixed it on the spot. Mr. Shin is hard working, smart, and an expert in his field.

I had my two exterior doors refinished and painted. Mr. Shin was very professional and did an excellent job. We are very happy with his work and I will definitely hire him again.

I've used them before and expected things to go smoothly. They mostly did and only one glitch was their responsibility. I'm very particular about every little detail so I ordered custom cabinets to match existing cabinets that I was not replacing from the same cabinet maker I used 20 years ago, and selected and ordered all of the appliances, tile, and lighting. They showed up promptly as promised and worked diligently throughout. When things were not exactly the way I wanted them, the cheerfully redid them until they were perfect. They were patient when the appliance order was missing a piece for 4 weeks, and counter tops had to be remade because a color variation was unacceptable. My only complaint was with the tile floor which was not as level as I wanted. They re-grouted to correct for minor unevenness. The price went up from the original estimate, but I expected that when I kept adding little projects to the mix.
The workmanship was generally terrific, I checked everything with a level and measure at every step of the way. The even worked with me through design and installation of an upper cabinet with a window back, figuring out how to compensate for unmovable structural components.
I would use them again without hesitation.

They came when scheduled, were neat and clean. The work took a little longer (an extra day) and cost a little more ($300) because of a misunderstanding about the shower faucets. I paid or the toilet and faucets. When the toilet, which I supplied, was defective Mr. Shin sent back the workers to switch out the defective toilet with a replacement charging me only $80, a real bargain.

Mr. Shin's English is hard to understand, but its worth the effort given the quality of his workmanship. He was recommended by friends who have used him for interior and exterior painting, carpentry, and kitchen and bath remodeling.

After having been horribly disappointed with my last contractor, I was leery of trusting another contractor, but the floor tiles were coming off the floor and the toilet needed replacing. I was more than happy with the work, and would use him again.

Not only have they been the lowest cost when I've shopped them, but I've been extremely happy with the quality, responsiveness and general professionalism. I will be using them again in the future, no doubt.

The weather was getting cold and I needed our exterior shutters repaired and painted on short notice. Also, one gutter needed to be re-attached. Sunny Painting was at our house within 24 hrs. to give an estimate. They were prompt, courteous and professional. The work was completed within 5 days of the estimate and the house looks great. Gutter was satisfactorily re-attached. I will not hesitate to hire Sunny Painting for future work.

Owner and his two cousins do all the work. They are very diligent and punctual. They cleaned up everyday and the work was outstanding.

Prompt and most cost effective estimate out of 5 estimates. Spent about 5 hours on first day repairing damaged wood with 2 assistants, arrived 2nd day about 7:30 with 3 assistants and completed all painting and caulking by 3:30. Mr. Shin, the owner, took the lead in all work and carefully supervised his assistants. Caulking and painting results excellent - 2 coats of paint on all surfaces. Some additional paint work in addition to explicit contract at no additional charge. Very satisfied with work.

Sunny is very accommodating in scheduling, gives an accurate estimate before work begins, charges reasonable fees, performs meticulous work in an outstanding manner, and thoroughly cleans up everything when he is finished. We are extremely pleased with both the interior and exterior painting. (We have used Sunny on prior occasions for both interior and exterior painting, and have always had outstanding results.) We recommend him most highly.
