Solar Mowing

I am very happy with the services of Solar Mowing. They are nice and very professional. I have a relatively small yard but it's full of difficulties like steps and tree roots etc. Only small mowers can be used and some care is needed in how the mowing is done. I also love the fact that they are solar. I just wish all my neighbors also used solar power (I have come to hate the noise of the traditional mowers!)

Contact Solar Mowing on last Friday in April. They mowed, cleaned up and bagged up refuse. They did a great job.

Solar Mowing is a very responsive business.  I appreciate that it uses renewable energy to charge its electric mowers.  They are quiet and nonpoluting.

I absolutely love the concept for this business, wish I had thought of it, and it is implemented in a thoroughly professional way with
competitive pricing. My landscaper was over once when they were about to start cutting, and first he teased them about being girls, then he doubted their electric mowers could handle my high grass, then he admitted to being impressed once he saw the final "product."
The exhaust from lawn mowers, leaf blowers, etc. is basically unregulated and can account for a lot of urban pollution in our area, not to mention spilled gas and oil from dealing with internal combustion machinery. Plus, the noise just gets to be outrageous in neighborhoods like mine. Why did we buy a house in the 'burbs if we wanted to listen to un-muffled engines all day?! Think of how it affects the workers, too, who never seem to wear masks or ear protection. Please people, wake up and hire solar mowing! I do not know the owner or anyone who works there, I just really appreciate anyone trying to do something positive for the environment, AND making a business out of it.
She does ask for money upfront for the season (though I think she has plans, too). I have always balked at such things, but the fact is, it makes sense, I trust them not to cut the grass when it gets really dry (and credit me if necessary, or use it toward blowing leaves), and now I'm kind of relieved to not have to remember to pay, or get whiny reminders, etc.

We had called a lawn company recommended by some folks in our neighborhood, but that company's responsiveness was horrible. They set up a time without consulting us, then when we suggested a time for them that worked better, they didn't show up. I called Lyn at Solar Mowing first to get an estimate and then to fill in when the other lawn guys turned out to be unreliable.
Throughout the whole process, Lyn was professional, courteous and reasonable. Her pricing was very competitive and although I first declined their services, she was still extremely responsive when I explained the no-show situation.
During the course of 24 hours, she mobilized her team very quickly to get 2 people out to our home to do a whole clean-up. I met the crew when they turned up and they were great: very professional, knew exactly what they were doing, had great attention to detail - even the little stones that we have on our front lawn were nicely swept clean - and even carried all of the grass and leaf debris away with them. 
My experience with the company has been outstanding. They are reasonably priced, responsive, professional, courteous, well-mannered and to top it all off, the equipment produced little to no noise. Couldn't have asked for more. I would recommend Lyn and her team in a heartbeat.

Contacted Lyn on a Thurs to get an estimate, she was out promptly the next day to provide it. I emailed her Friday night to sign up for service and she had someone out Monday morning to mow the lawn. Awesome! Lawn looks great and the young man who came to mow and do trim work was very friendly and professional.
