They are excellent. I've used them for about the last 20 years plus. One thing about the quality of the work, it's always going to be the best workmanship. He has more of a craftsman mentality and skill. They're not just painters or just doing jobs, they're skilled at what they do and have pride with their work.

Our experience with Case/Fred was good from start to finish.  Our consultant, Steve Todd, was very responsive and provided lots of great ideas as we worked out the details of what we wanted to have done.  I made sure to communicate with Steve clearly and often, and he did the same with me, so everything went according to plan, despite some changes we made in our plans along the way.  The craftsmen on the job, Jeff Powell, Dan S, and another gentleman whose name I cannot remember, all did excellent work in a highly professional way.  Everything was done in a timely manner.  Every day they cleaned up thoroughly and left the house looking good.  They took particular care to watch out for our pets, as we requested.  Jeff noted several problems with original installations that he was able to fix, which tells me that he was not just blasting through his work, but rather was taking time to make sure it was done right.  Steve was overseeing the work from start to finish and addressed any question or request I had.  We may have paid a little more for the Case/Fred name, but it was worth it to know that we would get professional service.  And they provide a 5 year limited warranty, too.  All in all, it was great to work with Steve and the craftsmen from Fred.

This job went very well. They installed and painted two piece crown molding in very large master bedroom and small ante room. They removed two very large wall mirrors from two bathrooms which was a very delicate job. They also removed one recessed medicine  cabinet  from bathroom. They repaired all walls thoroughly and prepared them for painting. They shaved off door bottom. The job took two days. The team of two men cleaned up thoroughly when finished and were very pleasant.

Mark Fessenden did an excellent job in repairing our yard gate and on a few other boards on our fence. He came on time and completed the work on the same day.

The person who came was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable.  He made a very good first impression.  He was thorough and seemed to know what he was talking about.  He took it upon himself to secure a consultation which, although very responsible, was one which I chose not to take, not for any reason other than the amount of money involved.  I was pleased with the service and would gladly call again.

I had saved up about 8 projects that I was embarrassed to admit I couldn't handle on my own - like hanging a new chandelier, fixing a hinge on a bathroom door, dealing with a leak, etc.  The fred guy took care of them all in a few short hours (and as an added bonus didn't make me feel ridiculous for not doing them on my own). I may put fred on my speed-dial list.

Large project; well managed; some bumps -- mostly successes.  All-in-all major improvement and quality work.

Dan did an excellent job. He was very professional at all times and very helpful. He solved our plumbing problem and helped us keep the cost down as much as possible.
