Renovec renovated our 70's galley kitchen to an updated, modern and bespoke kitchen that fit our needs as heavy home cooks. They demo'd a wall and found an airduct that needed to be moved, and Sid called us immediately and helped guide our decision to fit our budget. He also had his crew create a custom hood covering that I personally designed and his carpenter brought to life. Sid immediately understood my vision for this kitchen and had such a great energy and excitement about creating that vision from scratch. I would highly recommend Renovec for kitchen remodels. Note: This project was done during the pandemic, and he and the crew were on top of social distancing as well as wearing masks as all of the work was done indoors.

I worked with Renovec on my front yard where they reconstructed the garden bed that had been overgrown with vines into a gorgeous expanded flower bed. They also redid our walkway, widened our driveway and put in a drain. Matt is very quick to respond and flexible with my ever changing ideas. The crew worked very quickly and I couldn't be happier with the final result. From a cost perspective, Matt gave me ideas and helped come up with a product within my budget. I would absolutely recommend Sid, Matt, and their crew for any landscaping projects.

Renovec is a fantastic company that we can't wait to work with again on our planned future renovations. We were in a MAJOR bind when our previous company stopped showing up and left our kitchen, dining room, and powder room demolished and our whole first floor was a construction zone. Renovec came highly recommended from a friend of a friend and word of mouth is the best way to find a good company that you can trust! Initially we were just replacing the floors, but as we got to know Sid and Susan we knew we could trust them to do a nice remodel of our kitchen. They fixed the issues with our flooring left by the previous company with ease and installed our new flooring. We then moved onto a complete kitchen remodel with new upper cabinets, a full hood install, custom cabinet work for a wine fridge, and custom rework of our lower cabinets. Sid added his artistic touch throughout the design process, which is an added bonus that you don't usually get with most contractors. Susan worked closely with us to coordinate workers and plans each day. They were communicative about any issues or required changes throughout the process and were mindful of getting the project done efficiently. Their work is high quality and they strive to make the space a home. Sid and Susan are a joy to work with and we will be calling them again for our next remodel project!

We had water damage to our kitchen and the bathroom and basement beneath it. Sid from Renovec came out and not only fixed the problem, but helped us make our dream kitchen a reality during the repairs. Sid also helped us navigate the confusing insurance process and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Renovec did a great job communicating with us and our insurance company and got the job done on budget and within the agreed upon time frame. Sid and his Renovec team were always professional, worked with our schedules, and were very trustworthy. We love our new kitchen and are happy we won't have to worry about possible water damage in the future!

I am very happy with Renovec's work and craftsmanship. They were professional and responsive to my input. My third floor which had once only been used for storage has now been transformed into a livable area, both lovely and practical, complete with a bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet.

He did not do the job right thru his sub contractors and refused to acknowledge the problem or address it.

The workers worked fast and professionally. Sid was a huge help and his recommendations helped out a lot. There were some unexpected extras that we were pleased to receive and that was the biggest surprise. I highly doubt that there is anywhere else I will go when I need work done in my home. Renovec is a reliable and most importantly an honest business and I will not hesitate to call on them again in the future. Definitely will be recommending them to all I come in contact with.

I recommend Renovec to all of my family and friends. The quality of the work was outstanding and they went above and beyond to take care of my family during an unexpected crisis. This summer we experienced catastrophic water damage that made our ground floor unliveable. I was seven months pregnant at the time, and my husband and I didn't know where to turn. Fortunately, we found Renovec on HomeAdvisor.com! The day we reached out, Sid met us at our home to survey the damage and provide a quote to our insurance company. Other companies we found didn't even answer their phones! Sid gave us a detailed and fair quote and made sure we understood the work that was to be done. He personally met with our insurance inspector and helped us move a stalled claims process forward so that we could get back on schedule with an expedited timeline. Sid was especially kind and made me feel at ease, knowing we could be back in our home as soon as possible before our baby was born. The repairs involved laying new floors, framing, drywall, painting, and a custom staircase with fine finish carpentry. We found a few unrelated leaks while Renovec was on site. Sid dealt with them for us personally in order to get us back in our home. TL:DR Sid and his team went above and beyond to help us get back in our house during a very difficult time. We could not be happier with the work that was done or the service we received.

I had an insurance claim for a tree following on my home. Renovec stated they would do the work that was listed in the insurance claim for the price the insurance stated. I started noticing they were not doing the complete work as listed. Instead of replacing damaged drywall they just patched and painted. The roof was missing flashing, exposed wood was not wrapped with tyvek. When I questioned the work Sid said things would be fixed. Then they submitted a supplement to the insurance claim wanting more money. They stopped work saying they were waiting on the supplement however I had given them enough money to complete the interior and fix the questionable work. Several areas were not finished, the garage door frame missing header and side jamb, the roof flashing missing, gutters missing. Several items listed in the supplement were false. They stated a crane was used to lift trusses for the garage roof. I was home and watched the guys lift the trusses for the garage, there was no crane. They stated 4 new trusses were added to the interior of my home. The Howard County inspector pointed out there was only 1 new trusses added and the repair they did to the existing trusses was inferior and did not pass the inspection. I asked if they could just complete the work that was paid for, they claimed they wanted more money to complete the job. Parts of the interior are not livable, no flooring or lights. Exterior is getting damaged without gutters and house wrap. My insurance sent a 2nd adjuster to review their work and confirmed the half done inferior work. Trying to work with the HomeAdvisor complaint division, at this point moving to arbitration. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! Update 11/03/20 This is a follow-up to a review 2yrs ago. I hired them to repair major damage from a fallen tree. Their workmanship was poor, they pulled permits but didnâ t get any inspections. I questioned them on things throughout the process and was told they would take care of everything. They did not. They tried to submit a supplement to get more money (it was an insurance claim) they listed things that were not done or needed. Through a long arbitration process, a compliant and claim through the Maryland Home Improvement Commission I did win an award but the cost of attorney fees, storage and damage from their inferior work will never be recouped. And they took over 4 months to pay the award causing more fees just to collect the money due. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPAY!!!!

Prices are fair, he is super flexible, I couldn't ask for anything better. He came a day earlier for the estimate and started the work the next day.

The team who repaired, stripped, and refinished my deck were excellent. It was not an easy job and the weather wasn't always cooperative (super cold some days), but they always showed up and cleaned up when they were done. They did a great job!
