Based in metro DC since 1998, we serve MD, VA, DC. We have 30 dedicated employees (not subcontractors); we are fully licensed for all aspects of our business including Masters Electrical Licensed; plus fully insured and bonded. Over the past 4 years, we have also offered full irrigation services. We are active members of the American Society of Landscape Architects, Professional Grounds Management Society, and Landscape Contractor's Association of DC/MD/VA. We wanted to add landscape lighting to our front and back yard. Bill came out and looked at what we had (an old system in the front yard with old halogen lights but a working transformer in the front yard and nothing in the back. He was extremely professional, and at my request worked to update and incorporate what I already had with new LED lighting. He was super easy to work with, knows his stuff and focused on doing a great job for the customer. I told him I didn't want to spend a fortune and he came up with a plan. Once we got everything up I wanted to make some tweaks and additions. He was super accommodating and responsive. He genuinely wanted to make sure I was happy with the finished product. Great experience. I got a few quotes from top Angie's list (and one other contractor) and Outdoor Illumination wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive but they are probably the best!

Outdoor Illumination was recommended to me by a friend/neighbor And I would certainly recommend the company to anyone needing their type of service. From my first call to the company, service was prompt, professional and courteous. Work was started and completed as promised. The crew was a pleasure to have at my house. After installation there were a couple of adjustments that were needed. Again my email/calls were returned immediately and minor changes were made within 24 hours.

Mark (owner) and his Forman came out to provide an assessment and responded with an estimate. We made a few tweaks to the job and we book the installation. It went very well. We installed noon lighting and some tree accent lighting. It looked great but we decided we needed a bit more coverage and Mark had his crew come out and add the additional lighting! Now it’s perfect! We did it off season so the wait for installation was not long, only a couple of days which we were very happy about! Mark and the crew were very professional and I would use them again.

Very well. The designer promptly met with me and we discussed options (both for appearance and cost) to maximize return on investment. He also ensured I knew where some investment now could provide returns because of reduced maintenance and improved safety. My house and yard look beautiful.
