Our inspector Andrew arrived on time and conducted a thorough walkthrough. He encouraged me to join him through the process and ask questions as we went along. While the report was very detailed, I highly recommend anyone conducting an inspection join the inspector during the process. I learned a lot of little things and tips for future care that I wouldn't have learned otherwise - including low cost ways of preventing some problems down the road.

My realtor gave me a list of home inspectors. I joined Angie's List to help me to choose. This company got in touch with me right away, the inspector was punctual and professional.

To begin, this was my first home purchase and my only inspection, so I have nothing to compare this inspection with any other.
We chose Mid-Atlantic on the recomendation of our realtor. The inspector arrived on time and was very friendly throughout the inspection. He was happy to answer any of our questions, no matter how minor. He seemed very familiar with the type of house we were buying. We received our report the next day and it was a detailed report with lots of pictures and information. The inspector found some significant problems with the roof and we used that information to negotiate a subsidy with the seller.

Andrew showed up on time was very professional. He did a fantastic job answering our questinon and going over everything in detail so we understand what needs to be done to the house now and in the future. The next morning we got a very well documented 41 page-report with clear pictures showing the major and minor summary of repairs needed. Overall we're very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company.

They were very friendly and explained everything. They went through the whole house and he took pictures of everything and gave us a report with all the pictures of all the problem areas. I did not have any complaints.
