We called ahead. Brought only the PC box in. We picked it up the next day.

We carried the computer into the shop on the afternoon of June 5, asking for a diagnosis. Since the diagnostic fee was only fifty dollars it seemed worthwhile even though we were quite pessimistic. Soon we received a telephone call with a modest repair estimate. We picked it up fully functional on June 7, even though we said we weren't in a particular hurry. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

All the data transferred except for the contacts in Outlook. The tech did not know how to do that but the Verizon tech figured it out. My experience with the people and companies that fix computers is that the hardware gets fixed but the tech usually doesn't know how to fix all of the software issues. The technician was prompt and courteous.

Hilltop has been servicing my husbands office and our home for three years now. Their professionalism and knowledge is beyond reproach. The fact that they can fix most problems online and most times same day is an invaluable service that we depend on. We have also bought our home PC, daughters lap top and all of the office work stations including an exchange server from them.
