Antique and Jewelry Appraisal
We used her because she specializes in Japanese wood block art. She's one of the top people for the art that we have so she is the best provider out there. We had no issues. We had 2 additional items thrown for free after the works we have done. We used her twice. The appraisal total for 7 works was $800 and the appraisal value came out close to $1,000. Cathy was fine. He was nice, very knowledgeable and very willing to accommodate our schedule. The pricing actually wasn't bad and it was reasonable for this area. She also provided me a history about the artwork and gave me recommendations on how to improve the value such as restoration on one piece. She gave us great insights including recommendations on possible galleries that would be interested on our pieces. Overall, it was quite well. She's very responsive, usually within 24-48 hours.
