Great job and highly recommend this company. The price might be more than with another company, but they were recommended to me and I knew the job would be done right the first time. Extremely pleasant to work with and very professional. Moved furniture out of the rooms that had to be done.

We are very pleased. The company was very responsive to our scheduling constraints. The quality of the workmanship was excellent. However, the customer service, and the responsiveness of the associate who worked with us, were truly outstanding. They are a pleasure to do business with.

I wish every business were like CG Coe. We always deal with Matt and he sets the standard for customer service, good advice, and being, in general, an all-around good guy. 
The quality of rugs at Coe is excellent, and, important to me, you can be assured that their Oriental rugs are made ethically and don't use child labor or other unsavory practices.

Overall, this was a really great experience. Bob Coe provided estimates quickly and answered all of my questions. He was at my condo when the workmen arrived, to make sure that everything was squared away. He also got the job done in one day, then returned a few days later to make sure that I was happy with the results. They were somewhat more expensive than the other options I considered, but the carpet is extremely high quality and the customer service was superb. Definitely recommend.

Excellent in every way

I have not yet purchased a rug, but I went to Coe and Son looking for a large area rug.  I was pleased with the variety available and with their willingness to show me so many.  After narrowing down the type of rug and colors I want, Bob offered to try to find one on his next shopping trip.  I found him and his associates to be very friendly and professional.

Waited several months for the special order, but they warned me about it from the get-go. Installation went smoothly and quickly; moved all furniture carefully; made recommendation regarding best position of carpet in relation to position of furniture in the room; recommended cleaning dos and don'ts.  Very professional and they know carpets.  Not the cheapest in town, but quality and service are worth it.

I was looking to replace a worn out seagrass rug when I moved into my new house.  The manufacturer referred me to C.G. Coe & Son in Bethesda.  Matt helped me to find the exact rug.  He also suggested alternatives that I might consider, but even though several of these were less expensive than the one I had wanted, I decided to go with my original plan.  When I wanted an 8 foot octagon shape rather than a standard 8x10, he suggested that Coe make the rug with the materials supplied by the original manufacturer as they could then guarantee its result.  It turned out exactly as I wanted it, the price quoted was the price on delivery. I don't know how their prices compare with other stores, but I wanted to buy from them because I trust them.  Coe has every quality carpet and rug I could ever shop for and I look forward to doing business with them again.

We have worked with C.G. Coe and Son since we moved into our home six years ago. They have provided  almost all of the rugs and carpet in our home. We highly recommend them.

They were fabulous. They did a great job. They are expensive, but their work is fabulous. Their customer service is fabulous. I can?t say enough good things about them. They came and supervised the insulation. Everything was done onsite. Nothing was prefabricated. I am thinking about using them again.

Sales persons were very knowlegable, informative and courteous and spent a lot of time time helping us make our selections. The carpets are high quality. We are working with them to purchase an even larger more expensive carpet for our dining room. They allowed us to take home numerous samples on three different occasions.

Very smooth. This was over a year ago, so I don't remember the details, but there were not glitches that came to mind. They were helpful with the carpet selection process, and the install went seamlessly.

It was a great pleasure doing business with CG Coe and Sons. They went out of the way to provide old-fashioned customer service, as we sought an oriental rug for our living room. We'd not bought one before, so we didn't know what to look for. They educated us on the characteristics of a high-quality rug. We described what we wanted, and they helped us view their collection until we found one that we absolutely loved -- a Nain rug. Unfortunately, it was $25,000, because it was made of silk and had exquisite craftsmanship. Even as neophytes, though, we could tell this was an exceptional rug. We thought it was so beautiful, we briefly thought about buying it anyway (though it would have completely blown our decorating budget for the living room and, possibly, jeopardized the education of our unborn child). Reluctantly, we chose another rug of a different design made of wool. H.G. Coe and Sons is extremely unusual in that they will allow you to see how the carpet looks in your house BEFORE you make a final purchase. They came over on a Saturday, and brought the rug we had chosen. When we saw it in the room, it seemed to have more browns than we'd realized in the showroom. But they had a surprise in store for us. Bob Coe had seen us look longingly at the Nain and while attending a show in NY, saw another Nain that he thought we might like -- except this one was made of wool and well within our budget. H.G. Coe and Sons had it brought down and had it delivered to the house along with the one that my husband and I had chosen. There was no charge for this service, nor were we obligated to buy. However, we fell in love with the wool Nain and decided to buy it, rather than the one we'd selected originally. I was blown away by Bob's consideration and attention to detail -- and that he had been so observant about our tastes and preferences. I was further blown away that H.G. Coe and Sons took the time and effort to bring this rug down from NY just so that we could take a look at it. This kind of proactive customer service is truly rare. We will be going back to H.G. Coe and Sons for our next rug, and we will highly recommend them to friends.
