Noon at Boon PC could not have been more excellent! She was careful not to give me false expectations of success - but exceeded expecations! She was responsive, excellent at communicating. I couldn't have been happier with the service. And you can't beat the price. It was a little tricky getting into the building the first time on a Saturday. It's not expensive well-furnished digs. But that may be why they're able to keep their service so incredibly affordable. This is now my go-to place for my computer issues.

They cleaned all the garbage out I had accumulated over the years and saved two very expensive software programs that I would not be able to buy for Windows7, or even learn over again. I disconnected the H/P unit from the internet and use it only as a work station with  a very old copy of 5.0 copy of Thumbs Plus.
The newer desktop now runs like the day it was made and have re- downloaded many photo files and documents from a WD Passport Back-Up  disk.
I cannot express my appreciation for the work done on these two computers as they not only saved them but saved my software also.
 I highly recommend them  to work on any computer brought into their shop, plus as a Bethesda resident always looking for a parking space there is public parking right next door to their building.
I have notified my grown children and grandchildren to take their computers to BOON PC without fail if they want the work done properly

They were good with me in terms of they would order the solid state hard drive, but it would take about a week, and I said if I bought it and brought it to them, would they install it and they were fine with that.  It took them as long as it's said they were going to do and they were good estimators.

Job performance was great...but since it was during the holidays, the length of time to diagnose problem and to perform the data recovery was longer than I had hoped for.

My experience with Boon PC was terrific. It was timely, professional, and reasonably priced. Our aging PC had finally crashed for good. P*** PC took care of getting the data off the dead PC and on to an external hard drive within two days. The only challenge was getting the PC up the stairs to their office.

It took two phone calls to get an actual person, but when I did it was obvious that they knew what they were doing. I explained my problem and the steps that I had taken, and the woman at Boon understood immediately. I took my computer to their offices that day. She took notes on what my problem was and what I had done. I was given an estimate and told it would take four business days. They repaired the computer at the estimated fee and it was ready one day early. I will definitely use them again.

When I entered Boon PC, a younger woman behind the desk was arguing with an elderly man, about his PC - he was being unreasonable (speaking in broken English that he needed the computer back within 24 hrs), but the salesperson was being unnecessarily rude to him, and raising her voice.
When she got to me - I explained what was wrong - but she kept insisting the problem was because I was watching videos - even though I told her 2-3 times that the screen would go black at other random times. She told it she'd check for viruses. She was rude to me, and did not listen to me throughout the exchange. But I was desperate, had liked this place in the past, so I left my laptop there.
She called the next day and told me I could pick it up. I was charged $75 - their standard diagnostic fee - and was told that she found no viruses, checked my graphics card, and that the problem was that I had it on a setting that would have the laptop fade out after 20 minutes of not touching the touch pad. I told her that that did not sound like she addressed the problem - reminding her that I told her when I dropped it off that I often did not touch the touchpad during movies. She insisted that the setting was the problem and the laptop was fixed. I paid and left.
When I returned home, I soon discovered the problem was not only not fixed (it blacked out again with a day or two) but whatever she did to reset all the settings, - I now can no longer type on the laptop without the cursor now randomly jumping to 15 characters behind itself and typing. This is MUCH MORE annoying than the original black-out problem! Now I need to find a good computer repair person to fix two things.

I dropped off the PC at the agreed upon time and place. It was ready for pick up on time.

Mr. Boon was a godsend. He was incredibly patient with my non-technical husband. He explained everything that he did and what was wrong. He advised on the purchase on the purchase of the new computer and completed the uploading of all our information within the same day. It was more stressful for my husband driving up and down Rockville Pike between Best Buy and Mr. Boon's shop in Bethesda than it was having our computer in Mr. Boon's shop. He accomplished everything in only 2 days.

It went great. He always finds the problems. He is very knowledgable and communicates well. Additionally, he is efficient and reasonably priced.

Service was quite fast. Fee was very reasonable.

I will only take my PCs to Boon from now on. We have used him exclusively since we found him. He works very quickly and very the price is always great!

My netbook would not boot, Mr. Boon let me come in for a quick check for free before I sent it back to the manufacturer and it started up.

He did an excellent job and was very fast. After he was finished I couldn't get it back up so I took it back and he fixed it up with no charge and basically my screen needed to be replaced. He referred me to a place in New York where I could get a cheap replacement screen. He had it fixed when he said he would have it fixed. He updated the computer and did some additional things to it. There wasn't anything I didn't like about him.

They performed the service on the same day that I went to them. It was a simple problem, and he thought it would be wrong to charge me more. It was a very simple fix. I thought he would charge me much more. He was very helpful and fair.

My daughter took a non-working Windows laptop to BoonPC after I found them on Angie's List. She was extremely happy with the whole experience. The service was excellent. BoonPC explained what they had found as the problem and why it was not a cost effective repair for her particular laptop (a low cost computer). They transferred all data on the laptop to a hard drive for her so that nothing was lost. They offered to dispose of the laptop for her which she happily agreed to. As she wanted to get a replacement, they explained the weak points of her laptop and recommended brands they felt had a good repair record. The total cost was about $55 which my daughter felt was very reasonable, and less than she had expected to pay. She highly recommends BoonPC and requested I make this report to Angie's List.

All positive. They were very efficient, reliable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy.
