BETHESDA SUNLIGHTING

The salesperson in the store went out of his way to be rude. He did ask me if I needed help, but when I started to tell him what I was looking for he walked away and returned to watching a show on his computer. OK, not a big deal. But when I did have specific questions for him about the costs and dimensions of a particular lampshade it was like pulling teeth to get him to respond. When he did answer, it was in a way that was both unprofessional and inappropriate. For example, I asked him to clarify the dimensions of a lampshade, and he asked how big a shade I needed (I had already said it was for a very large ginger jar lamp, but that was when I first came in and he was glued to his computer show.) Then he said he didn't need to answer my question about dimensions since I wasn't going to buy the shade. When I said I actually did want my question answered, he spoke to me as though I was an idiot, and pointed to different parts of the shade asking "what do you think this is?" When I commented on his lack of helpfulness he said (this is a verbatim quote )"I don't need your help." This description doesn't do justice to how offensive he was - I strongly recommend not patronizing this store and taking your business elsewhere.

It didn't turn out that well. I would avoid them. They have poor customer service skills. One of the lights in my bathroom continues to make clicking sounds. I went to the store and informed them and they told me to loosen the screws, which I did, to no avail. I went away during the Summer and came back and came back and the issue was still there. I went back to the store and he said that too much time had passed and he would not help me, even though I came to him before I left with the problem. It was something small, but he refused to properly follow up with this customer.

One day service that repaired the lamp at $20 less than the estimate.  Have taken another lamp that requires rewiring.  This business is not new to me--I have been using for unique light bulbs and lamp repair for more than 20 years.
