We refinanced our current mortgage with Bancstar. They got us the information we needed to complete the process, were always receptive to our questions, and helped us through thr process to a successful conclusion. We were very happy with the estimates they gave us. They helped us make some choices in how we wanted the refinance to proceed, allowing us to make more 'informed' choices.
I think they adjusted the amount of information and help based upon what we already know about refinancing. That is to say that I think they would have provided more information should we have needed it. That's good - we already knew a lot (but not everything) about what we wanted, so we could cut to the chase and move forward quickly.
After a few emails and exchanges of information we were all set, and the closing went very smoothly. Everything was perfect - not a single glitch anywhere. I'm happy with the rate, costs (our rate let them pay the costs), and I'm very happy with how they performed. I'd definitely use them again, without a second thought.
