After discussing what I wanted, Tim provided a thorough estimate, along with a design sketch. He was the 3rd estimate that I had received and I hired AKS to finish the basement. He emailed the contract and I have absolutely no regrets. His crew started work every day at 8 AM (M-F) and his team sometimes worked till 7 PM. AKS completed the project as planned and it looks amazing. The boys love the basement. I recommended AKS to my neighbor and plan to hire AKS again for another project (house painting). AKS is ultra-professional, with an upbeat "can-do" attitude, they do what they say they will do, in a timely manner. It's refreshing to have a company take pride in their product and service.

Tim and his team were great. The initial appointment was scheduled by email/text and he came when scheduled. He provided a quote the same day and started as promised a few days later. He completed the project as ordered and was a pleasure to work with

AKS gave a quick and fair quote to fix our screened in porch and to fix a kitchen ceiling that was done incorrectly by the initial contractor (CMB). They mostly do kitchens and baths, but also, tile, drywall, paint, amongst other things, just give them a call. We luckily found them through Home Advisor. They fixed the pocket ceiling lighting in our kitchen and some actual ceiling work. They closed up the 4 junction boxes in the ceiling, added and moved some of the pocket lighting and fixed the horrible job originally done. They repaired screen on our screened in porch, put in a new custom stair railing, and fixed paint on part of the stairwell, where it was chipping and not looking fabulous. Tim Duncan is the owner, and all around great contractor. Victor was fabulous as well! Attention to detail, kept the work area in order. Wish we would have known about them the first time the kitchen was done. Maybe we wouldn't already be redoing it after a couple years. Excellent experience! Would most definitely work with them again!

I wish to thank Home Advisor for giving me the reference of AKS Services LLC for my kitchen project. Having done several home improvement projects over the years, I was very unhappy at losing my long time contractor who retired. I found Mr. Tim Duncan, the owner, not only very knowledgeable, but also a thorough gentleman. His estimate for putting in a kitchen in the basement of my house was the best priced, and the work performed was excellent right from the design to the final completion and handover. Tim attended to every fine detail of the project, and proved an excellent designer. He personally supervised every detail and was always punctual at all our meetings. He delivered the kitchen project on time, and on several issues went over and beyond the contract agreement and that too without demanding any extra payment. I cannot thank Tim enough for delivering a beautiful kitchen at the lowest cost to me. I can recommend AKS Services without any hesitation, assuring anyone of a beautifully performed job at a most reasonable cost.

Deciding on a contractor is a real leap of faith. We met several before settling on AKS for our home remodel. Tim, Victor and team are not only total pros but they are lovely people. Tim and crew did multiple jobs for us, including complete remodeling of bathroom, installing new ceramic tile in kitchen, painting multiple rooms..Can't say enough about how efficient, prompt, and professional they all were...we kept finding new things for them to do...HIghly recommend

Tim and his crew members were all pleasant and easy to work with. They creatively solved a number of issues with plumbing, ductwork, insulation, door location, an old and scarred ceiling, and placement of electrical switches. The quality of their spackling and painting was superb. Changes during the process of remodeling were handled easily and respectfully. Crews showed up on time and always said Hello and let us know when they were leaving. They worked hard and always cleaned up after themselves. They created the perfect bedroom and bathroom for an elderly person and I LOVE the new kitchen sink, countertop, and backsplash!

Tim Duncan, the owner, is extremely responsive. They did excellent work and came as scheduled to do the work. They also put tarps down from the front door to the kitchen so they wouldnâ t get our floors dirty. They dotted every I and crossed every T. Finally, we absolutely love the work they did.

Tim did a fantastic job on our bathroom. From start to finish, we were thrilled with the level of communication and professionalism from this company. They came exactly when they said they would, finished on-time, and kept us updated with regular communication throughout the project. The work quality was excellent, and they were able to handle all of the aspects, from the design, to the electric, to the plumbing. Tim was flexible, taking on an extra unrelated project to install a door, and the work on that was terrific too. The price was very reasonable; the quote was lower than what we recieved from another contractor. We are looking forward to working with Tim again on future projects, and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a contractor.

I am thrilled with the quality of the work and the communication throughout the project. I now have a beautiful backsplash and much effort was required to remove the old and then prep the area. Every member of the team was professional and helpful. All appointments were kept on time. Highly recommend!

Tim was professional and had a lot of overall knowledge of different issues I needed addressed in my condo. His prices were fair and I felt like I got good value. The tile person did a great job in my bathroom despite an uneven floor.
