Our central A/C unit started dripping vast amounts of water, and didn't cool well. Sam Osler said that it was impracticable to replace the parts on a 20+ year old A/C unit (which the previous owner had obviously patched up at least once), and it would cost about the same just to get a new one. Since our furnace was also old, we could replace that at the same time and save some installation costs. Made sense to us, and his matter of fact discussion of alternatives fit our style of communication. He and his son did the work within a day or two after the new equipment arrive, and did a good job. There were a couple of small problems with the installation, and Sam came over to fix them within a couple hours of our phone calls. Since then (3+ years), no problems at all.

When he makes an appointment, he will always be there on time. He always calls me right back whenever I call him. He did a very good job and I am very happy with him.

We got Sam's name from Angie's List. When we called he returned our call immediately and made an appointment. The next day he showed up exactly on time. He checked our two furnaces and gave us information on maintenance that we had not learned before. He also looked at our air conditioning system, at no extra charge. We intend to use Sam again for all maintenance and repair.

The Oslers run as a father-son business. Mr. Osler Sr. did the specification/estimation work and then he and his son did the installation. He spent a great deal of time scoping out the work and refused to treat it as a standard, one-off installation. I truly believe that they took as much care as they would have had it been their own home. Some of the exhaust piping had to be redone, as the higher efficiency units need to be vented through the wall or a window (a converted window in our case) and cannot go out through a chimney (the temperature or the exhaust gases is too low to make it up the chimney. A tech started when they said that they would - their installation was completed within one or two days of when they said it would and they did it on time. Mr. Osler was extremely thoughtful, kind, and conscientious in is work. We strongly recommend him without any reservations. We did make one post-installation call and Mr. Osler came right out and fixed it. We were very satisfied.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE WORK. THE ZONING HAS WORKED REALLY WELL AND ALLOWED US TO HEAT OR COOL ONLY THE AREAS WE ARE USING. VERY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE.
