PREMIER FLOORING INSTALLATION

From William the manager and Ed in flooring to the rest of the nameless individuals who work at the Berlin store, I say - you need some serious and continual customer service training. After ordering my carpet on June 21, 2014, everything - and I do mean EVERYTHING - went down hill. Measure date was 6/24/14 and the horrible Premier Flooring (avoid at all cost, which means never get carpet from Home Depot, because they are the exclusive installer for Home Depot) never called to say the carpet arrived in their warehouse. Once I finally got through to them, they couldn t find the order. Called Home Depot, and the woman who answered the phone didn?t seem to know how to simply look up the order, call the installer, and then get back to me. Once I called William the manager, who seemed to be in a haze for some reason, I got passed off to Ed in flooring, who spent more time talking over me and telling me how Home Depot isn t responsible for anything once you pay them. Even though you pay Home Depot, and Home Depot pays Permier Flooring, you as the consumer have no leverage to get through to the installer or get things moving. Ed also couldn t seem to grasp the simple solution of having Home Depot, who pays the installer, and making them schedule a date and get back with me. William the manager finally said he would call them, but then it would all be up to me. So, my question is: why do I pay Home Depot if I m going to have to do all the work anyway and advocate for the installer, who Home Depot pays, to get the work done. So now it is July 10 and the installer, who couldn t care less who I am or how long its been since I ordered the carpet, is saying it will be another two weeks before they can install - a full MONTH after I ordered the carpet, which was in their warehouse on July 2nd! William needs a new job, Ed should retire, and the entire staff should be retrained in customer service. But most of all, Home Depot should select a new vendor. So many companies do quality work with the customer in mind. But Premier Flooring isn t one of them.
