Great experience

The work proceeded smoothly from start to finish. It was fall and leaves were falling. We were worried but the crew very professionally put up a net. That took care of the problem.

The service went really well. The owner, Nick, came out personally to either do or oversee the work. He took a lot of time to examine the pool (a large, inground cement pool that came with the foreclosed house) and, most importantly, explained to us how everything worked, since we didn't know the first thing about how to care for the pool. In the process of testing the lines, we found that the old fiberglass sand filter had cracked and that the pump was dead. When the items came in the mail, Nick installed the filter and taught me enough to know how to install the pump myself. We plan to completely renovated the pool in the coming years and we will definitely use Nick and his services again in the future.

We had planned on renovating our swimming pool for quite some time. However, the estimates we received from most companies were exorbitant. Some companies wanted us to sign a contract on the spot, before we would have been able to obtain other estimates. Mr. Nick Leinbach was recommended to us by a company that in the past has provided services for our pool. Mr. Leinbach is very knowledgeable, made suggestions that saved us additional costs and was always there to make sure that the work proceeded as scheduled. His crew did an outstanding job, from beginning to end. We did not have to worry one moment during the whole renovation. The pool looks fantastic, thanks to Watermark Swimming Pool Services, Mr. Leinbach and his crew. ? If only all companies would be as responsible and reliable as Watermark Swimming Pool Services.

Watermark Swimming Pool Services was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. After phoning in to request a quote, Nick promptly came over the next day and was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done with the pool even with the winter cover still on. The previous season, we obtained quotes from other pool renovation companies, but none of them seemed friendly or very knowledgeable about what work needed to be done. Our pool is an Anthony pool, and the bond beam and concrete area around the perimeter was crumbling. The previous year, the wall that separates the pool from the spa actually crumbled and fell into the pool. Nick gave us a quote which was pretty much on target even after discovering that parts of the pool was in worse shape than we had thought originally. Nick brought over samples of coping tile as well as perimeter and trim tile. He also showed us some plastering options and explained everything in great detail. Nick was also very responsive anytime we called or emailed. Work started pretty much right away. The employees of Watermark were great; their attention to detail and quality of work is beyond excellent. They cleaned up after each work day and even though we had other contractors on the property (bath renovation), there were absolutely no problems. The work was very quick, and our new pool was filling with water in no time. The results are beyond anything we could have imagined (see pics). Our new pool is absolutely beautiful and we are extremely happy with everything. We feel very lucky to have found Watermark and highly recommend them for any pool renovations, as they are a small company with great customer service, very knowledgeable, and do high quality work.

The work went extremely well. Nick is a real pleasure to deal with. He's honest, professional, courteous, extremely knowledgeable, and always timely. He gave me an estimate for the work July 2008. I contacted him in May 2009 to get him under contract. He updated his original proposal to reflect changes in some prices, and he cautioned me that he noticed a crack in the pool that he would need to get a better look at before he would continue. His folks drained the pool and inspected it. They found some structural damages near and around the pool seat. Nick called me and scheduled a meeting so he could share with me what he found. He met me at the pool at the appointed time and took his time to explain the situation and to pose several alternatives to address it. We selected to have him repair the structural damage, and then continue with the new tile and the re-plastering work as prescribed in our contract. Nick gave me a verbal estimate of the change in price to repair the structural damage, and upon my concurrence, he proceeded with the work. The work was frequently interrupted by the rain we had in the Washington area during mid-June 2009. Nevertheless, Nick finished the work in a timely manner and went beyond the contracted scope to arrange for delivery of pool water, and to schedule my normal pool service provide, Potomac Aquatics, to open the pool the afternoon of the day the pool water was delivered. The invoice Nick sent me was clear, self-explanatory, and met the price he verbally quoted me. It was a real pleasure doing business with Nick and his folks. They were diligent when working and always cleaned-up after their day of work. I HIGHLY recommend Watermark Swimming Pool Services for anyone looking for an honest, reliable, knowledgeable, and professional pool repair contractor.
