Chilar Construction

I recently contracted with another company to build a fence and pour a concrete patio. Juan is the contractor that the fencing company used to pour my cement patio. I was very impressed with him and his crew. They did an absolutely amazing job on the patio. The concrete patio is located under my deck and Juan asked whether or not I was interested in having a walkway to the steps put in as well. I was telling him that I absolutely hated the stairs to my deck. I didn't think they had been built correctly because they were way too small and steep. Of course they had been done by a friend of a friend and much cheaper. I have been trying to replace them since. Its hard to find a decking company that doesn't have a job minimum and replacing the steps is generally way under their minimum. Juan pulled out his measuring tape and indeed they weren't the size they should be. He then mentioned his small construction company and that he could give me an estimate for the work. He explained a couple of options and gave me a price. He said it would take a max of 2 days and he would throw in the replacement of the warped boards on the floor of my deck. Well I was impressed enough that I decided to hire him for the job. His guys showed up yesterday at the agreed upon time and got right to work. They were respectful, courteous and professional. I cannot believe the difference in these steps. I can actually walk down them without having to walk sideways because my feet don't fit on the boards and I don't feel like I am going to fall forward. They kept working till around 8:00pm or so to finish the job. They cleaned the yard of all the debris and even took the extra dirt from the posts and moved it to holes my dog had dug. Definitely went beyond what I expected and I will definitely keep his card for my future construction needs. Juan has been in the construction industry for many years, but only recently has decided to make a go of it on his own. I would definitely recommend him!!!
