Will and his assistant were very professional and punctual. The job was complete and I requested some changes to the completed job. The changes were needed, as I did a poor job communicating one of my needs. Will and I evaluated the requested changes and agreed to what could be done. Will performed the requested changes and the finished product is great!!!! In addition, will and his assistant primed the walls and completely cleaned up after themselves, cleaning the floors and all. If you need drywall or paint work done then I would call Will. I feel like the price was fair compared to other quotes and the work was definitely worth it!

The finished job looked amazing. I couldn't have imagined a better outcome. Communication was great and my questions were always promptly answered. The project took two weeks and finished exactly on time. I always knew what was going on and where we stood. I would definitely recommend and will use again. My only regret is not writing this review sooner. These guys are professional and fantastic to work with.

Extremely well. Will and Allen had to work in a condo with lots of stuff in it and not much room to work. They had to constantly move furnishings to get to walls and ceiling. Not only was the repair work (result of my awkward handiwork) and painting done well but they cleaned up constantly, even cleaning windows, sinks and countertops not involved in painting. Always in good spirits, on time, never wasting a moment and even tolerating the occasional interruption by one of my cats. Whenever possible they moved furniture back to where it was every day before they left. WF Drywall & Painting was priced right considering all the repairs that had to be done before the painting could actually begin. I recommend this company without reservation or hesitation.

Work was done in a timely fashion with minimal mess, considering how dusty drywall work can be. Will was open and communicative through the whole process. I was so happy with the work that I’ve hired him to work on another room, too!

Excellent job, plaster repair and painting wall in bedroom. Plaster repair very smooth. Cannot tell where cracks were. Plaster repair and paint in dining area. Plaster work not smooth. Depending on light, you can see uneven areas. This may be due to having to work over an old gas line pipe. But so far -- a few months have passed-- and the repair is holding. This is my main concern though a bit more smoothness in the repair would have been great. I had to touch up some missed paint spots by the window frame. Possible that since the chosen Color was close to the old, the worker simply could not catch the spots missed. Also a little wipe up of white paint in a small section floor from baseboard paint job. I give an A for the upstairs bedroom job. And a B for the dining area, which was a much larger job.

I originally asked Will to provide an estimate for painting, and it grew into much more. He suggested the window install: what I had was a clumsy fill-in for what used to be a door, and a lousy single-paned window. The back door was done by some amateur, and until Will replaced it, I did not realize how poorly it had been done. Will measured it, ordered it custom, and installed it professionally; now I have a real door, and a real window. The paint job was tricky since I had chosen red paint....and it took many coats to cover the walls properly. He removed the cabinet doors, painted all beautifully, and then put everything back together again. One of the best parts was the rearrangement of cabinets in my galley kitchen, which had become restricted due to the original placement of the cabinets. Will came up with the new design, and politely arranged it for my approval one day...and he was dead on right. He stuck with his original proposal, even though I know that there were some extra costs involved. He showed up on time every day, and cleaned up every day before he left. I was able to use my kitchen at night, because of this. WF Drywall and painting is also: carpentry, design, tile work, and always good spirits and attitude!

William Frisby was recommended by another contractor on Angie’s list, who highly recommended him. Now that the work is completed, I can understand why William Frisby has earned the respect of his colleagues. He answers all questions by email. He arrives at the work site promptly. He communicates honestly about what needs to get done and what does not. He is attentive to customer concerns. He completes the job on time. But this is not the main reason for recommending William Frisby so highly. It is the quality of his work that sets him apart. Not only was I a happy camper, but since William has completed his work, I’ve had several contractors at the house to estimate some work I need done in the house. Several other contractors commented on the dining room ceiling. In addition, I was particularly concerned about creating plaster dust in my house. I clean houses for a living and I KNOW how difficult it is to remove this fine particle dust. Other men contractors think that because you cannot write your name in the dust that it is not a problem (let me put up a sheet of plastic over your doors). Not so. They are unfamiliar with the problem, because they do not clean on a regular basis. William’s sander that has a vacuum cleaner in it that REMOVES OVER 97 % OF THE DUST, when he sands. DRYING TIME FOR THE JOINT COMPOUND OR “MUD”: William uses the “powdered” joint compound. He is SKILLED at using this product (it dries in either 20, 40 or 90 minutes = depending on which product you buy. Therefore, it is important that the sheet rock installer work quickly and neatly). The other kind of joint compound is pre-mixed and takes 24 hours to dry. If you apply paint over not-sufficiently-cured joint compound, EVENTUALY the seams will pop (the job looks great when it is finished, but does not last). Another contractor, who gave me an estimate told me he was going to do the above described job with pre-mixed joint compound in an afternoon and did not see a problem with this. YES, I would hire William again. After I get the kitchen ceiling insulation completed, he is going to do my kitchen ceiling and repair damage to the upper part of the wall. WOMEN – if you are interested in a contractor who is NOT going to create a huge mess *for you to clean up* and who does a top quality job, William Frisby is your man.

A more knowledgeable, experienced, and effective contractor, we could not have asked for. His work is good, his price is fair, and he appears when he says he will or explains deviations from schedule beforehand. Like having a good dentist and mechanic, having a reliable expert painter helps make a locale home. Besides being good at his work, Will is very pleasant and respectful.

During hurricane Sandy, half off my flat roof peeled off and flooded my bedroom, living room and part of my hallway. Will Frisby performed all of my interior work from start to finish. Bottom line, he's going to be my handyman from here on out. He is very pleasant, and shows up everyday on time and gets an amazing amount of work done. The quote was great, compared to other quotes I received for much, much less work. I'm literally getting more than twice as much work done compared with other quotes that I've received. When my bedroom ceiling came down, he noticed that the wiring was done in a very dangerous manner. He notified me, and recommended an electrician. He made sure to be present when the electrician showed up, and made sure I was comfortable working with him. The electrician turned out to be excellent as well, also with great pricing. He's been very patient with the insurance payment hiccups and continued to work even when payments were delayed. He is also very mindful of my own schedule and makes sure he's not imposing too much. My home is old and everything is just a little bit crooked, but now it looks like normal rooms in a normal home. Yay! I have some sort of weird paneled box in my living room that contains the gas meter? He said he had some extra drywall and would like to use that to make it look better. Bonus! My only regret is that I can't afford to have him paint as well, I'll be doing that on my own soon.

Will was punctual each of the three days he worked on the kitchen. He was thorough at prepping the work area and straightening up after each day. He listened to my ideas and offered recommendations based upon his extensive knowledge in the field. He maintained a professional demeanor throughout the entire job. After he was finished the project, he had me look over the kitchen with a critical eye to make sure he had not missed anything. All in all, Will exceeded my expectations and I wil contact him again for future jobs.

I cannot recommend Will enough. From the very beginning he was always punctual and honest with the job at hand.

After some damage had occurred to my wall due to construction I contacted several contractors and Will was the only one to offer to complete the job using plaster and the correct materials. He was very up front with the cost, process and possible complications. There was some time between the estimate and when we scheduled the work due to complications on my end, but Will was very patient and never pushy. We were able to negotiate a fair price and was quoted for a three-day job.

Each day Will was early to start and quick to complete the work for that day.  He explained what the goal for the day was and each member of the team he brought was very personable and respectful. All the furniture in the room was covered and he brought ample drop cloths. Will spent the time to explain how the damage occurred, any additional issues to look out for and instead of demoing the whole wall was careful to only repair what was necessary. Painting was quick and they were able to match the dark color of my wall fairly well.

I was originally quoted three-days for the job but he was able to complete everything in two which was a nice surprise. There was very little mess remaining and overall I am happy with the work completed. If I have any more plaster work I will be using Will and his team again.

In a word, wonderful. Will has worked for me in the past, and will again in the future; frankly, he is my one and only trusted resource when it comes to painting and fixing the plaster inside my home, and stucco outside the home.

Not all painters know how to work with plaster, and older homes. Will does. I moved into my circa 1952 home in 2013, and had Will repair cracks throughout. Three years later, there are more repairs, as it is a recurring need.

Will came by after work one day, to do an estimate, and then scheduled the work within a couple of weeks. He showed up on time, and did the work in less time than anticipated. He used the tool that removes dust as it is created, so that when the sanding is done, there is none of the usual dust to clean up. After the job was done, he cleaned up and left the place immaculate; nothing out of place. All that is left is the seamless repair work! When painting over the areas repaired, he painted a large enough area that you cannot see where the patch was done.

He does very authentic and professional work, is cheerful, and is an absolute pleasure to have around!

Will provided the best price, and worked with our insurance company to coordinate paperwork. He and his assistant were punctual, and did a beautiful job on everything.  You can't even tell we ever had any storm damage.  In addition, Will was very friendly and easy to work with.  Even when we made a mistake in the paint we purchased that cost him additional time and effort, he never blinked, just said "no problem", provided an explanation of the issue, and fixed the problem.  We couldn't be more pleased in how everything turned out, and we will definitely use Will for painting and drywall needs in the future.

Will set up a time to come down and look over the project, told me how he planned to repair it, and gave me an estimate. He had to postpone a couple of times due to other work projects and rain and each time he let me know in advance when he would come. I told him that I wasn't in a big rush and to fit it in when he could.  The job eventually took three trips to complete and once he got it started, it went quickly. The results are excellent. I would definitely use him again.

Will Frisby did an excellent job.  This is the second time we have hired this contractor who uses a dust extraction system when sanding drywall and plaster repairs.  There is almost no dust.  The quality of the work is excellent and the work is efficient.

Will Frisby is a professional who is determined to do a perfect job.  We noted something after he completed the work, notified him, and he returned happily and quickly rectified the matter.  My wife and I are very pleased with his work--it did turn out perfectly well done, as is Will's motto.  We would not hesitate to hire him again.
